The German manufactured Schott plate glass B270, has a 22-layer anti-reflective coating that significantly reduces reflection and provides light transmission of almost 100%. With an additional 6 layers of protective coatings applied, the final finish provides a waterproof, oil-resistant, scratchresistant and anti-static surface for easy cleaning and superior lens protection. Available in three sizes, 67mm, 77mm and 82mm, this filter is extremely thin and measures only 3.8mm. This thin profile eliminates vignetting even with wide angle lenses. This filter helps to darken specific areas of an image, such as the bright sky, while allowing for a normal exposure in the other segments of the image. The filter is most dense at the edge and tapers to clear at the center. The soft-edged transition line creates a smooth seamless image. Neutral density filters will not affect the coloration of the image and can be paired with other filters when needed. The SIRUI 100mm filter holder is perfect for use with the full line of SIRUI 100mm filters or with most manufacturers 100mm square filters from 1.7mm-2.3mm in thickness. The SIRUI Filter Holder 100mm kit includes the following: Filter Holder Body 100mm fits directly on 82mm lenses, Adapter Ring for 67mm lenses, Adapter Ring for 72mm lenses, Adapter Ring for 77mm lenses and an 82mm circular polarizing filter that can be used in conjunction with the square filters. The scientific grade aluminum main body makes the SIRUI Filter Holder strong and lightweight. Three separate slots in the adapter allow for quick and easy stacking of filters and the rubber coated star wheel in the back allows the filter to be turned to any angle needed while staying completely secure on the lens.
