1 58 GRADATION HEAVY DUTY SIEVE SHAKER The G2127 Heavy Duty motorized sieve shaker holds up to 10 full height 2" deep, 20 half height 1" deep, or /8" deep sieves, plus pan and cover. 3" and 5" sieves can also be tested with the G2125 adapter ordered separately. The shaker has a three way shaking action. Each revolution imparts a horizontal and vertical movement and a jolting action. The platform moves side to side with a jolt at each change of direction, plus a slight upward movement. This creates a quick efficient movement and separation of material. The unit is designed with Heavy Duty steel parts and there are no chains, belts, or flywheels, to wear out, which minimizes downtime and results in a longer lasting shaker. MODELS POWER STANDARDS G2127 HEAVY DUTY SIEVE SHAKER, 8" & 12" SIEVES ASTM C-136 MANUAL SIEVE SHAKER This sieve shaker is specifically designed for portable use without an electrical power supply. Rapid positive sieving action is produced by turning the hand crank at a steady rate. The unit is lightweight, only 37 lbs, and transports easily. The shaker is for use with 8" sieves and can hold 8 full height or 16 half height sieves plus pan and cover. MODELS STANDARDS G2101 MANUAL SIEVE SHAKER ASTM E-11 / AASHTO T-27, M-92 ECONO SIEVE SHAKER This 8" sieve shaker is a budget model that is widely accepted by state transportation departments for highway materials testing. The unit produces a lateral back and forth motion combined with up and down and tilting motions to cause the test material to travel in an orbit around the testing screen. The tester holds 6 full height or 13 half height sieves and pan. The unit has a 15 minute timer with stop and a hold feature for continuous running. The shaker is designed for use with 8" sieves and is recommended for testing applications requiring materials 100 mesh and larger in size. The shaker has a capacity of 7 full-height or 15 half-height 8" dia sieves with pan and cover. The shaker has a built-in 30 minute timer and is operated by a 1/4 HP motor. MODELS POWER G2113 G2114 PORTABLE SIEVE SHAKER SIEVE SHAKER, FOR 3", 5", 8" SIEVES The G2121 & G2122 motorized 8" sieve shaker holds 10 full height or 18 half height sieves with pan and cover. 3 60 GRADATION SIEVE SHAKER, MARY ANN The G2225 Mary Ann Motorized Laboratory Sieve Shakers can handle up to a 20" stack of unclamped 12" or 8" sieves at 45 O. When using 8" sieves the unit has a maximum capacity of 10 full-height sieves, while 12" sieve capacity is 6 full-height sieves. The sieving action allows each particle maximum opportunity to pass through the mesh. These high quality shakers offer quite operation while minimizing sieve wear. Also included is a convenient storage rack while the new digital timer ensures precise operation. The G2223 has the same operation but is designed to handle only 8" sieves. It holds up to 8 full height 8" sieves or 6 full height 12" sieves, plus pan and cover. All major parts are constructed of high strength aluminum alloy. Shaking action is accomplished by four concentrically mounted springs, providing a unique three way action in each cycle. The sieves are shaken side to side, up and down, and with a slight twist to keep particles moving across the sieve screen and evenly disbursed. The motor is 1/3 hp and has a built in timer. MODELS POWER G2261 G2262 SIEVE SHAKER, 8", 10" & 12" SIEVES COUNTER BALANCED SIEVE SHAKER These 1/3 hp motor sieve shakers feature automatic 2-way tapping combined with perfect circular rotation which covers the widest range of applications. The exclusive 2-way sieve clamping system secures the integral cover assembly to two stainless steel guide rods by clamp knobs. Then the sieve stack is pressured vertically by the center knob. Once loosened, the cover assembly slides on guide rods for easy repositioning to any sieve stack height. An internal counterbalance allows the unit to remain stationary without permanent mounting. These units have a precision built in electric timer which repeats test times exactly at the touch of the "start" button and also resets automatically to any selected test time (up to 15 minutes). 4 GRADATION 61 RO-TAP SIEVE SHAKER The RO-TAP sieve shaker for 8" sieves has 285 horizontal movements and 156 taps per minute. The unit mounts on any solid table with just 2 bolts. The shaker has a built in 30 minute timer and an adjustable sieve support plate. The motor is a 1/4 hp unit which is completely enclosed. The motor is available in 110V/60Hz (G2205) and 220V/50Hz (G2206) models (please specify type needed). The unit holds 6 full height or 13 half height sieves with pan. Unit is virtually maintenance free except for occasional lubrication. Also available in 12" diameter models, 110V/60Hz (G2211) and 220V/50Hz (G2212). An adapter (G2214) is available for the 12" models to allow use with 8" sieves. The G2219 Sound Enclosure is specifically designed to be used with the G2205 thru G2212 Ro-Tap Sieve Shakers. They also accommodate nonstandard diameter sieves that cannot be adapted to the G2351 Sieve Shaker. The pads can also be used with a microsplitter when reducing sticky or near size materials, and for compaction and settling tests of powders. The vibration intensity can be set by knob. The plastic coated 5-1/4 " square platform has two wing nut fasteners and corner pillars with garter springs for holding sieves and other items in place. 5 62 GRADATION GILSON TESTING SCREEN The testing screen is an ideal tool for sizing test samples of crushed stone, sand and gravel. Handles up to 1 cu. ft. sample batches. Samples are separated into two to seven sizes simultaneously in three to five minutes. The unit is built for rugged service. The outer frame encloses the vibrating unit which consists of a series of screen trays. Five coarse screen trays: 2", 1-1/2", 1", 3/4", and 1/2" (or other combination of coarse trays) and a dustpan are supplied with the unit, however, it will accommodate an extra tray if the dustpan is placed in the stationary position under the vibrating unit. The screening motion is a vertical vibration. The trays are held in place by manually operated threaded clamping rods. The testing screen is also available with a hydraulic clamping device. 6 GRADATION 63 GILSON TEST MASTER The Test-Master testing screens are designed for coarse materials of mid-range density such as limestone or gravel. Similar to the G2705 except the Test-Master has an internal counter balance which eliminates the need for permanent anti-vibration mounting in trailers or near sensitive equipment. Balancing is achieved through the internal rotating weights which equalizes the action of the vibrating mechanism. The G2781 & G2782 holds six screen trays and pan. The G2785 & G2786 holds seven trays and pan, but closer tray spacing limits use of these models to 3/8" tray sizes and finer for the bottom four tray slots. The enclosed outer case confines dust and reduces noise. Also featured is a built-in timer which can be programed up to 99 min., 59 sec. The screen trays are hydraulically clamped in operating position by the foot-pedal clamping device.
