Po USB3 Compliant Low Power Consumption: < 3.6W GenCP Compliant (xml file embedded) Description e2v has announced the launch of e2v OCTOPLUS, the industry s first modular linear CMOS camera platform for Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and general spectrometry. For the past 10 years, e2v has been delivering state of the art linear CCD cameras for OCT and general spectrometry applications. CCD technology has certain speed limitations and flexibility constrains, so e2v has developed the new CMOS based OCTOPLUS camera module which offers massively increased scanning speeds (reaching up to 130 ka-scan/s in 12bits). This represents a major leap forward and improves functional imaging quality, benefiting applications such as angiography. e2v s OCTOPLUS camera module combines high speed, easy alignment, high signal-to-noise ratio, easy USB3 interfacing and customisable processing, all at attractive price points. Not simply a standard specification product, OCTOPLUS offers users the freedom to choose their own speed, pixel height, full well capacity, interface and sensor package, offering more than 60 camera combinations. This enables optical engineers to design their particular OCTOPLUS camera to best fit their spectrometer, with each option offering specific advantages in certain conditions and set ups. It also allows customers to control the cost to best meet their targeted selling price by only selecting the options/features that are of interest to them.
