1 Panasonic AK-HC3500 Information uniquement en anglais 2/3" 2.2M 1080i Native 3-CCD HD Studio Camera The AK-HC3500 HD studio camera is a native high-definition studio camera system for studio/direct-to-air switcher facilities and electronic field production. Incorporating three high-performing 2/3" 2.2-megapixel IT CCDs, a newly developed 38-bit digital signal processor, and a 14-bit A/D converter, the HC3500 delivers exceptional HD images in 1080/59.94i and 1080/50i. The HC3500 features an advanced single-channel transfer system and spatial offset processing that reduces aliasing and provides an outstanding 1,100 horizontal lines of resolution, and 60 db signal-to-noise ratio. The camera is equipped with a 12-axis color matrix to permit precise hue and saturation adjustment of individual colors. Other functions that allow precise HD image control include: skin-tone detail; versatile gamma settings including real-time Dynamic Range Stretch (DRS) that varies the gamma correction to match the contrast within the image; cine gamma to produce warm film-like images; and a new hue protection circuit which enables rich color reproduction even in high light areas, as in a brightly lit scene. When configured for studio use, the 10.4-pound AK-HC3500 can also be mounted onto an optional build-up unit with a "one touch," cable-free setup. The camera can also be used shoulder-mount for EFP applications. By combining a 14-bit A/D converter with 38-bit digital signal processing, the camera's low smear level and reduced moiré contribute to exceptional imagery even in lowlight environments. A variety of image controls go further to improve image quality depending on the shooting situation, with such high-performance functions as dynamic range stretch, cine gamma curve, skin tone detail correction, and enhanced DTL signal processing. In keeping with its "multi-format" designation, the AK-HC3500E shoots both 1080i59.94Hz and 50Hz HD formats. AK-HC3500E has VBS out as standard for prompter output. The AK-HC3500E utilizes Panasonic CCD sensor technology and the improved on-chip lens performance offers a high sensitivity of F10 (1080/59.94i) or F11 (1080/50i) at 2000 lx, a low smear level and an excellent signal to noise ratio of 60 db. Panasonic's single-channel transfer system and spatial-offset processing technologies improve signal modulation depth and reduce moiré. AK-HCU3550E Camera Control Unit The Panasonic AK-HCU3550E Camera Control Unit supports high definition 1080i 50i/59.94, SD 576/50i and 480/59.94i output, and 1080/50i/59.94i, 576/50.00i, 480/59.9 RET IN formats. It s designed to work with the AK-HC3500E production/studio camera for studio and EFP (electronic field production) applications. The Camera Control Unit manages critical camera functions, with low power consumption of only 40W - reducing the heat dissipation. This compact, half-rack width (200 x 125 x 400 mm) and

4 light weight (9Kg), control unit can be easily carried in flypacks and OB vans, thus offering efficient all-round versatility. AK-HVF931AE Viewfinder The AK-HVF931AE is a high performance 8 type LCD Colour viewfinder. Easily and securely attaches to the AK-HC3500 studio camera. Allowing 900 panning angle, a high degree of tilt adjustment and with the low profile of the HC3500 the viewfinder can be set to the optimum position for operator comfort. 5 AK-MSU935E Master Setup Unit The AK-MSU935, master setup unit (MSU) has the ability to adjust the entire range of parameters in the studio camera and can be connected to up to 12 camera systems. Its has a large 6.3 type LCD display and direct access keys for menu settings, allowing easy and quick operation of all camera functions. SD memory card slot allows for storing and recalling three user references, eight scene files and sixteen lens files.
