1 NeoIDesc 595 Quick Guide The NeoIDesc 595 is mainly screen driven and easy to use by icons and instructions. 1. Content of the box: - NeoIDesc Charger - USB cable - Headset - Touchscreen pen - Leather case - Screen cloth - Soft bag for accessories Note: In order to use the NeoINimics Messenger and calling functions you need to APPLY for an account at neoi-asia@neoi.asia. The Account set in this set is only for testing connectivity and may not work or be used for operation! 2. Getting Started: Notice: Before you use the 595 the first time, you must charge the built in battery for at least 24 hours. Do not remove the charger connector during charging (red light on); this might damage your battery. Batteries are fixed built in, and any damaged batteries changes do not fall under warranty. The battery light turns green when battery is full charged. A fully charged battery has a standby time from 30 to 40 hours. While in standby sleeping mode the battery lasts 50 to 60 hours. Operation time with both, Wi-Fi and 3G on is about 6 hours.

2 To switch on, hold down the power button until you feel a slight vibration, then release and wait for the device to start. To switch off, press and hold the power button, select Power off to shut down the device. 3. Start Screen: To unlock the screen, use a finger or the supplied pen and slide the lock icon towards the speaker icon (as the arrow indicates) or press the following hard buttons: Back & Settings. Icons displayed on the main screen (Icons may be changed without further notice) The following icons may be displayed in the first line of screen. Signal Strength Battery Status WiFi Headset mode 3G The Settings Button always shows all the options you have for each programme. A fast double-click on the screen zooms in the view. Some Apps are on the start screen preloaded such as SETTINGS, , BROWSER and GALLERY. You can enter the menu by touching the icon. If you wan to add other icons to the start screen, pull the arrow on the right side by touching and sliding it to the left open. Keep touching the icon you want to move and it will drop on the start screen. You can move it on the screen via drag and drop (a green frame

3 appears). If you want to delete an icon, move it via drag and drop in the garbage bin (icon & bin appear red). SETTINGS: 1. Wireless & networks Turn on/off Airplane mode, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth. Set WI-FI, Bluetooth and VPN settings. Select Mobile Networks to set up Mobile Operators and Network Access Point. 2. Sound & display A. Sound settings Set mode, volume, sounds etc. B. Display settings Set animation, brightness, screen timeout or orientation. C. Touch Panel setting Adjust the accuracy of the touch panel. 3. Location & security For example set GPS, password or an unlock pattern. 4. Applications Manage applications, running services etc.. 5. Privacy Factory data reset. 6. SD card & device storage Shows total and available space of SD card available space of internal device storage. 7. Search Set web search and quick search box settings. 8. Language & keyboard You can set the language and region. 9. Date & time Select date, time format and set time and date. 10. About device Shows status, battery use, legal information etc..

4 Touch the icon and press the settings button to open the menu. Choose Account settings to set a new account. Via Accounts you can see the set accounts and via folders the folders. To write a new mail, choose Compose. With Refresh the programme loads more messages. BROWSER: Touch the icon to open the browser. Type in the website address as usually. The star next to the address line shows the bookmarks, most visited and history. GALLERY: Shows all the pictures, images and movies on your device. Via settings you can set the general and the sideshow settings. MUSIC: Music player opens up Albums and Song Lists on the SD Card. It does not matter how and where the titles are saved. SPB TV: IP TV an exclusive FREE service only installed on Neoi Devices, watch up to 200 free public TV Channels, News, Sports, Music, Stock, Information etc. (Requires WiFi or 3G Connectivity) 4. Install/ Delete Apps APKoptic: Shows the installed Apps. By touching a programme you can choose to run or uninstall it, by choosing Backup to SD Card the programme will be saved on your SD Card and won`t be lost by the next software update of your device. 5. After Software Update After a Software Update you have to install the following programmes first: - File Explorer ->install->done! - APKoptic ->install->done! - IM+ ->install->done! TTS Service Extended, AndAppStore, Documents To Go, Linphone IM+ (INSTANT MESSENGER)

THEN YOU CAN START TO MAKE IP CALLS. ** Need continuous internet connection 6. Safety Precautions Information for parents Please read the operating instructions and safety precautions carefully before use. Consumer Information on SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) This Model Phone Meets the Government s Requirements for Exposure to Radio Waves. Your wireless phone is a radio transmitter and receiver. It is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for exposure to Radio Frequency (RF) energy. These limits are part of comprehensive guidelines and establish permitted levels of RF energy for the general population.
