1 MALAYSIAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION (MMA) STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE Dear Doctors, Kindly take note of the following guideline in order to view CPD POINTS on the MMA CPD system: MMA Members ONLY: Step 1: To receive/reset login details, kindly to or and include the details of your IC number, full name, contact number and address for registration details. OR If you have already received/reset your login details from the MMA IT Department, kindly proceed to login to view CPD points on the MMA CPD system and MMA CPD Mobile Application. Step 2: The login details can be used to view CPD points from 1 st July 2018 to 30 th June 2019 at the web portal system link at The CPD points can also be viewed on the MMA CPD Mobile Application. This mobile application can be downloaded from Google Play Store (for Android users) or App Store (for ios users). The Mobile Application name: MMA Malaysia. Non-MMA members ONLY: Step 1: In order to register, kindly download the MMA CPD Mobile Application from Google Play Store (for Android users) or App Store (for ios users). The Mobile Application name: MMA Malaysia. Once the mobile application has been downloaded please key in your IC number. If you are not already registered in the MMA CPD system, you will be requested to enter your name, address and chosen password. Step 2: After clicking the "submit" button, you will be channelled back to the login page. Next, login your personal and verify your to continue the process. You will receive a verification in your personal that you have successfully registered with MMA CPD Mobile Application. Kindly note, in case no verification is received or a pop-up error message is received by the mobile application kindly directly to the MMA IT Department at itsupport@mma.org.my or itadmin@mma.org.my. Step 3: After creation of the login details and verification in steps 1 and 2, please login via the mobile application to view the pop-up message, click Get Registered button to complete your Profile. Please ensure that the MMC number, full name and place of practice address details are entered fully. You will receive an from MMA once your registration is successful. 2 MALAYSIAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION (MMA) STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE IMPORTANT NOTICE CPD points are not compulsory for application of APC for 2017, 2018 and It is compulsory to have at least 20 CPD points for application for APC for 2020 and these points must be accumulated from 1st July 2018 to 30th June Please note that no CPD Points will be issued prior to 30 th June 2017 as the software has been changed, therefore we are not able to access the old accumulated points. We apologise for the inconvenience caused. Starting from 1st July 2017, CPD points will only be viewed after the event organiser/provider has scanned the Doctor s QR code during the event or keyed the doctors attendance manually into the MMA CPD system. Kindly refer to the event organiser/provider in case the CPD points do NOT appear in the MMA CPD System / MMA CPD Mobile Application. Regarding the CPD Points for the CPD term from 1 st July th June 2018 please get the MMA CPD Certificate via the MMA CPD Mobile Application if you require one. Please make sure the events attended locally are organised by registered CPD providers and the events have been approved under the MMA CPD system; approved events are advertised on the MMA CPD Mobile Application. MMA cannot accord CPD points for events held locally if the organiser did not apply to accredit the event for CPD points and these events will not be listed in the MMA CPD Mobile Application. For overseas CPD events and online CPD modules, application to accredit CPD points should be submitted via the MMA CPD Mobile Application under manual submission, by uploading the relevant certificate and event itinerary for overseas events or certificate of completion for online CPD modules. Manual submission via the MMA CPD Mobile Application can also be used to apply for accreditation of CPD points for Publications and Fellowships by uploading the relevant supporting documents. The MMA CPD Mobile Application Registration Guideline for Members & Non-Members is available at the following link: Mar-2018.pdf Minor changes to improve the MMA mobile app and MMA CPD system will be made without prior notice. However, if there are major changes in policy or to the application, users will be notified. In case the event Organiser has scanned your QR code, but no CPD points appear on this page, please logout and login OR uninstall & reinstall the App from the Apple Store or Google Play Store. CPD points will only be shown after the event Organizer / CPD Provider has keyed in the attendance manually OR scanned the QR code during the event date. 8

The app will automatically send an verification that you have successfully registered with CPD APP. Please see the sample below: Please click on the word here to complete the verification process to active your account. This page will appear after completing Step 1. Then, close this browser and proceed to the MMA App for login. 17
