1 System Speed Dial Programming: Each System Speed dial number is stored in its own bin number ranging from 600 through 699. You merely dial the three-digit bin number on your phone to dial the full speed dial number. To insert a pause, press the [PGM] key and 70. To insert a flash, press the [PGM] key and 3. The Flash will display as / on your screen. The Pause will display as p on your screen. Programming must be done from any display telephone. 1) Press [PGM] # 0 (The Program key, Pound Key, Zero key) 2) Press 1 and the [save] key (For the Tenant Group Prompt) 3) Press 9999 and the [show] key (For the PSWD Prompt) 4) Press the [next] key 3 times (Until the System Speed No. heading is displayed) 5) Press the [show] key (Will enter programming of system speed dial) 6) Dial the individual Speed Dial bin number you wish to program (from ) and press the [show] key (Note: You must press [show] to display the number BEFORE you will be able to change it) 7) Press the [chg] key to change it. 8) Dial the number you wish stored in This bin. 9) Press the [save] key to save your changes. (ONLY if you press [save] will it be changed) To change another System Speed dial number, press [next] or [back] and start back at step 6. You may pick up the handset and hang up when finished programming. Program Speed Dial Buttons With Handset in the cradle : Press PGM # 3 Press Button to be program Press soft key under the word [chg] Press soft key under word [dir] Dial system Speed or Personal bin number then press soft key under the word save At this point you can program another button or press the speaker twice to exit To Use Speed Dial Button Just press the speed dial button system will choose an outside line and dial the number

2 Sprint K3 System Telephone Time Change The Time on the Telephones and in the voice mail unit will need to be updated periodically. To update the time on the telephone system phones: Programming must be done from any display telephone with the handset in the cradle. 1) Press [PGM] # * (The Program key, Pound Key, Star key) 2) Press # # # # # # # # (Pound key 8 times) and then the [show] key and then the [save] key 3) Press the [back] key once (Until the Sys Applicat. heading is displayed) 4) Press the [show] key (Will enter the System Applications menu) 5) Press the [back] key twice (Until the System Time heading is displayed) (NOT the TIME SWITCHING heading) 6) Press the [show] key (Will enter the Time programming menu) 7) IF the YEAR is wrong, press the [chg] key, enter the proper year, and then press [save]. 8) Press the [next] key 9) IF the MONTH is wrong, press the [chg] key until the proper month is displayed. 10) Press the [next] key 11) IF the DAY is wrong, press the [chg] key, enter the proper day, and then press [save]. 12) Press the [next] key 13) IF the WEEKDAY is wrong, press the [chg] key until the proper weekday is displayed. 14) Press the [next] key

3 15) IF the HOUR is wrong, press the [chg] key, enter the proper two-digit hour (use military time format. ie. 9AM = 09, while 1PM = 13, 2PM =14 etc.), and then press [save]. 16) Press the [next] key 17) IF the MINUTE is wrong, press the [chg] key, enter the proper two-digit minute, and then press [save]. 18) Press the [SPKR] key twice to exit programming. Any changes you make, take place immediately. If you make a mistake and have not lost track of where you are in the programming, you can usually press the [back] or [next] key to get back to where you wish to be, or you can press the [SPKR] key twice to exit programming and start again. If you cannot follow the menu tree or the logic, please have someone else update your time for you. CAUTION: We expect that the time adjustment programming will be moved by the manufacturer to the same area as the system speed dial programming. Until then, it is important to note that there are many other programming changes that are available while in these menu headings. We cannot give you authorization to make any other changes. Only a trained technician should make changes to the other areas of programming for your system. You should NOT make any other changes that you are not familiar with. Your telephone system has many programmable parameters that work hand in hand together. You will NOT be trained to program the telephone system. If you cannot correct a change that you have made or have lost track of WHAT you have done, we have a copy of the programming that we have done to your system and can upload our copy of your previously stored programming remotely. Any remote programming necessary to fix changes that you are not authorized to make will be charged for. Our Minimum programming fee is $25.00.

4 Sprint K3 System Flash Voice Mail Time Change and/or Check To update or check the time in the voice mail / auto attendant: YOU MAY CHANGE THE TIME FROM ANY TOUCH TONE TELEPHONE. LISTEN TO AND FOLLOW THE VOICE PROMPTS AS YOU GO ALONG. [From your telephone at work, begin here:] Press the Voice mail button on your telephone. When the voice mail unit answers you, it asks for your password. (It is assuming that you wish to go into your own mailbox.) Press the ( * ) STAR key to back up one step in the voice mail. Continue with the next section. [You will start here if you called in from outside your office:] You will hear the normally scheduled greeting for that time of day. (For example, Thank you for calling XYZ Company etc.) Press the ( # ) POUND key (to identify yourself as a mailbox owner.) (You will now be prompted as you go along.) (WAIT FOR, AND FOLLOW THE PROMPTS) Dial #00 (for the Administrator s mailbox) Dial 1234 (for the password) [YOU ARE NOW IN THE SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR S MAILBOX] Dial 4 (To Set Date & Time) The prompt instructs you to: Press 1 to review data. Press 2 to change. Press * to exit If you press 2 to change, the prompt instructs you to: Enter time in 24 hour format (Use military time format. ie. 9AM = 09, while 1PM = 13, 2PM =14 etc) Enter date in mmddyy format (Use two digit Month, two digit Day and two digit Year) After changing the time settings, you should press 1 to review and make sure you have correctly set the time and date. You may then press * to exit and then hang up the phone.

The system provides eight separate conference bridges. (4 parties maximum each.) Callers can be easily transferred to these bridges. Users may simply dial the location number. Outside parties can join the conference using the automated attendant by dialing the bridge number at the Auto Attendant greeting. Voice Announce to tone ring if you call a station and you want voice changed to ringing Press * Change Service Mode ( example: to put system into Night ) 1. At the attendant extension: ( 401 ) a. Press the Feature/DSS button programmed with the Service Mode feature code or enter the feature code PGM 63. b. Enter the attendant extension password. ( Default 9999 ) 2. The Service Mode is advanced to the next mode. ( shown on screen ) 3. Repeat until the appropriate mode of service displays. 7 Sprint K3 Voice Mail Guide Answering Machine Emulation Whenever your voice mailbox answers a call, you can screen the caller leaving the message. This option is available for only a few seconds after your voice mailbox has answered the call. 1. When an extension user voice mailbox answers a caller, you ll hear an alert tone. The Voice Mail button will flash green at a fast rate. 2. Press the flashing Voice Mail button. a. Press [yes] to monitor call. The LED of the voice mail button will light steady green. At this time you are monitoring the caller and message in progress and will have the option via screen to answer caller Or b. Press [no] to exit this mode. To put a caller into a person's Voice mailbox: Press XFER button Press Voice Mail button, dial mailbox number (same as extension) or DSS/BLF and hang up. Voice Mail Notes Record Name & Extension *** Record Greeting *** Change Password Your Station : To Access Press Vmail Button listen and then enter security code & press # dial Home : Listen and press # then enter mailbox number then enter security code & press # From someone else's phone :, press voice mail button press the * key then press the # key, enter mailbox number, enter security code # When you have Voice mail : Your Voice Mail Lite/button will be flashing Best way to end Voice Mail session *** (3 Stars) immediately releases port. Note : a button can be programmed on your phone to have all your calls go to Voice Mail immediately (same button would provide for on / off ) Note : Silent record feature may be activated for only a few select stations via administrator.
