1 RV Tablet 80 Map Update via SD Card 1. First make sure yur tablet s perating system (OS) is up t date. Fr instructins n hw t update yur device s OS, click here: RV Tablet 80 OS Update Instructins 2. After verifying yur device is perating n the mst recent sftware update, dwnlad the RVT80_Map_Update.zip frm 3. Extract the dwnladed zip file prvided nt yur PC. Open the RVT80_Map_Update flder and cpy the fllwing files frm the flder t a new r frmatted SD Card: 6a5d66e a88252b2d28ebff31e.dat BackupCam_v0.14.0_ _1217_release.apk dashcam_v3.10.0_ _apicalrelease.apk digital_rad_atlas_v2.64.1_ _1634_ra-rmrelease.apk RM_Launcher_v rv_ _rv-release.apk RM_Manifest_RVT80.jsn RM_TllCst_v1.5.apk rms_v3-rmrelease _ _1640.apk RVNavigatin_v apk RVT80_ _Delta/.Navi/ navi_versin.txt RVT80_Navi4q z01 RVT80_Navi4q z02 RVT80_Navi4q z03 RVT80_Navi4q z04 RVT80_Navi4q zip TripMaker_ car_ _cnsumer-RMRelease.apk 4. Insert the SD Card int the tablet. G t All Apps File Manager.

2 5. In File Manager, select the external SD Card flder labeled extsd. 6. Tap n rms_v3-rmrelease _ _1640.apk t update the RM Services app.

3 7. A RM Services update will appear. Tap Install. After the app has been installed tap Dne.

4 8. Once the RM Services app has been installed remve and re-insert the SD Card int the tablet. A pp-up fr Map Data Update will appear. Tap Yes. Nte: Selecting Yes will immediately clse yur navigatin app and pssibly disrupt ruting.

5 9. Anther Map Data Update will appear blcking the use f the tablet until the update is cmplete. Keep the SD Card in the tablet fr the duratin f the update. When the prcess is cmplete, yur files shuld have successfully cpied. Tap OK.

6 10. A pp-up fr the Backup Cam app installatin will nw appear. Tap Install. Once the Backup Cam app has been installed tap Dne. 11. A pp-up fr the DashCam app installatin will nw appear. Tap Install. Once the DashCam app has been installed tap Dne.

7 12. A pp-up fr the Rad Atlas app installatin will nw appear. Tap Install. Once the Rad Atlas app has been installed tap Dne.

8 13. A pp-up fr the GPS Tll Data app installatin will nw appear. Tap Install. Once the GPS Tll app has been installed tap Dne.

9 14. A pp-up fr the RM Launcher app installatin will nw appear. Tap Install. Once the RM Launcher app has been installed tap Dne.

10 15. A pp-up fr the TripMaker app installatin will nw appear. Tap Install. Once the TripMaker app has been installed tap Dne.

11 16. A pp-up fr the RV GPS app installatin will nw appear. Tap Install. Once the RV GPS app has been installed tap Dne.

12 17. Verify the crrect data and app versin by launching the RV GPS app and ging t Preferences Cntact and Abut. The GPS versin shuld match and Navi Date shuld match

13 Trubleshting Steps: If, after Step 8, re-inserting the SD Card des nt prduce the Map Data Update ppup, r the app installatin pp-up went away befre installing the app updates, fllw these steps: 1. Remve the SD Card. 2. Rebt the tablet. 3. Once n the RM Launcher screen, re-insert the SD Card. 4. Cntinue frm Step 8. If Step 16 results in an issue fllwing the SD Card update, fllw these steps: 1. Remve SD Card and wait fr the SD Card Out message t appear. If the message des nt appear, rebt tablet. 2. Re-insert SD Card int tablet and tap Yes n Map Data Update pp-up. Nte: Yu will nt have t update RM Services and RV GPS apps again. Only the Map Data update will ccur. If Step 17 results in the RV GPS nt pening r ruting incrrectly, fllw these steps:

14 1. G t File Manager pen sdcard flder Settings. 2. Check the ptin t Shw hidden files/flders then g back t the previus screen.

15 3. G int the.navi flder. Press and hld navi_versin.txt.

16 4. Tap Delete File.

17 5. Remve SD Card frm tablet and re-insert. Attempt the update again. Nte: Yu will nt have t update the RM Services and RV GPS apps again. Only the Map Data update will ccur. If, after Step 17, Navi Date des nt match , rebt tablet and check again.

18 If any f the app installatin ntificatins disappeared because the hme buttn was pressed, fllw these steps: 1. Let the Map Data update cmplete then take the SD Card ut. 2. Rebt the tablet. 3. Put the SD Card back in nce the RM Launcher has finished lading. 4. Tap Yes n the pp-up fr Map Data Update. 5. Anther pp-up will appear saying all files are up t date. Tap OK. 6. Repeat Steps t finish updating all apps.
