3 GETTING STARTED This quick start setup guide is to help you get up and running on your new Unlimited Internet connection. Before you start please check you have the following items:

4 INSTALLING YOUR NEW TP-LINK VR600v WIRELESS ROUTER Step 1: Open your box and pull out the modem. Make sure you have your username and password, we sent to you via handy as you will need this when you reach step 9. Step 2: Connect the power adapter to an unused socket on your wall, with the other end going into the port on your modem labeled Power. Step 3: Make sure the DSL cable is plugged into ADSL splitter-filter to the telephone jackpoint and the modem is powered on. Step 4: Make sure to press the power button, located to the side, and ensure your Power LED begins to glow. NOTE: If your modem was sent out by us, it will be preconfigured and you can just plug it in and it s ready to go.

5 LOGGING INTO YOUR ROUTER Step 5: You need to now connect to your router. This can be done either via an Ethernet cable or via Wi-Fi. Ethernet: Take the Ethernet cable and plug one end into the port labelled LAN1 at the rear of your modem with the other end going into your laptop or desktop computer s Ethernet port. Wait for a minute while your computer connects to your modem. Wi-Fi: Once your router is turned on it automatically broadcast a Wi-Fi signal. Connect to the Wi-Fi Network name (SSID) as printed on the bottom of the modem as well as your TP-Link Wi-Fi card It should be similar to : TP-Link_xxxx. The default Wi-Fi password is also printed at the bottom of the modem and on the wifi card as well. Step 6: Once the connection is made, open a web browser (Chrome, Firefox etc.) & enter into the address bar as shown below. Once done press enter, you will immediately be prompted to setup a new password for the first time. Please enter your desired password and save it somewhere secure. You will require this password every time you want to log in to your router.

6 CONFIGURING YOUR ROUTER Once you have logged into your modem following the Logging into your Router instructions, you can now begin to configure your router. Step 7: Follow the quick setup guide and select time zone and the click Next Step 8: Now from the ISP List select Others and the click Next

7 Step 9: You will now arrive at the Internet Setup page. Ensure Settings are as below: L2 Interface Type: VDSL VLAN: Enabled VLAN ID: 10 Internet Connection Type: PPPoE Username: (enter your PPP Username here) Password: (enter your PPP Password here) Step 10: Once you have entered the correct details on the Internet Setup page, click Next.

8 Step 11: You will now reach the Wireless Settings page where you will be able to configure your Wi-Fi Network. The default values will be the same as those printed on the back of your router and on the Wi-Fi card provided. Here you can enable or disable, one or both of, the wireless bands as well as change your wireless Network Name (SSID) and Password for each band to your desired name(s) and password(s). Please write down the new SSID and Password for future use. Step 12: Once you are happy with the name and password for your Wi-Fi, click Next. NOTE: IF YOU USE A WIRELESS DEVICE TO CHANGE THE WIRELESS SETTINGS, YOU MAY BE DISCONNECTED AFTER THE NEW SETTINGS ARE EFFECTIVE. PLEASE WRITE DOWN THE NEW SSID AND PASSWORD FOR FUTURE USE.

9 Step 13: Congratulations! You are successfully connected to the internet and Wi-Fi is now secured. You can now connect to your Wi-Fi devices using the details you have just configured.
