3 1 - Introduction Welcome to the world of Business Everywhere! Business Everywhere provides your corporate network with Internet access wherever you want, as easily as if you were at home, thanks to the reach of the Orange mobile broadband 4G/H+/3G+/EDGE network and Wi-Fi. The software is easy to install and simple to use. It gives you access to the best available network, allows you to monitor your usage, and ensures that you enjoy the best possible mobile Internet experience. Once connected, you also have access to your Business Lounge space, which provides all the practical and useful information needed. Happy browsing! 3
4 2 - Installing Accès Sécurisé service 2.1 Required configuration Your computer must be configured as follows Operating system 32-bit and 64-bit Windows bit and 64-bit Windows 8 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 7 up to SP1 Internet browser 1 GHz Processor 40MB available space on hard drive 1 USB Port to connect the 4G/3G+ dongle 512 MB of RAM Video resolution: minimum 4
5 2 - Installing Accès Sécurisé service 2.2 You have a previous kit installed The installed connection kit with your Business Everywhere package doesn t enable you to use the Accès Sécurisé of Orange Business Services. If it s a v9 connection kit, it will be automatically uninstall during the installaton of the Accès Sécurisé kit. If it s a previous version to the v9 kit, you have to uninstalll it before installing the Accès Sécurisé kit. Uninstall this by clicking Start > All programs > Business Everywhere > Uninstall Business Everywhere To Know the current version of the kit you have, open it and click on «About» 5
6 2 - Installing Accès Sécurisé service 2.3 Step by step installation Download the installation file at the following adress: Save it on the users systems with the IPSec police file ( xxxx.tgb file) that Orange Business Services has sent to your manager. Double-click on the installed file and follow the instructions until the end. At one step of the process, the IPsec police file will be asked. Once the system is restarted, read and accept the terms of use for the device of the service. In addition to the kit, the following features are also installed : the VPN client and associated scripts, the drivers of the supported 4G/3G+ cards and a manager passwords. This will allow your VPN credentials (login/password) to be automatically saved during your first connection to your VPN network. 6
7 2 - Installing Accès Sécurisé service Once you have installed the connection kit on your computer, the two following icons are installed on your desktop : The Business Everywhere icon enables you a direct access to your connection kit. To uninstall the Business Everywhere connection kit, please click Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features. Select Business Everywhere, and then click Uninstall. 7
8 2 - Installing Accès Sécurisé service NB : If your manager changes your VPN password, click right on the password manager icon in the system and select «delete all accounts». During your next VPN connection, your credentials/passwords will be asked again and you will be able to log in with your new password. 8
9 2 - Installing / Uninstalling 2.4 Uninstalling the Accès Sécurisé service You have to uninstall separately every element of the solution : the TheGreenBow VPN client, 4G/3G+ cards drivers, the password manager the v9 connection kit To uninstall this, open the control pannel using Start > parameters > control Pannel. Click then on «Add/delete programms» 9
10 3 - The Business Everywhere interface The Business Everywhere connection software will always remain active on your computer, minimized as a small icon in the notification area or in the task bar. To access the interface, click on the icon on the desktop or in the notification area, or plug in your 4G/3G+ dongle to make it appear automatically 3.1 Your Business Everywhere connection kit Minimise in the taskbar Close the interface Connection status and network name Level of signal and technology network Connection duration and volume of data Change destination (optional) Connect to the Internet or Intranet (corporate network) Expand the interface to access secondary functions Disconnect from current connections (enabled when you are connected) 10

12 4 - Launching the connection kit Business Everywhere launches itself automatically after installation and at the start of each Windows session Once your 4G/3G+ dongle is connected or once the 4G/3G+ module integrated to your PC is enabled, the software will ask you to enter your PIN code You will then be able to type in your PIN code in the field provided for this: The default PIN code is To change your PIN code, please refer to the Section 6 Kit management tools If you enter a wrong PIN code 3 times, the software will ask you to enter your PUK code. Please ask your Orange customer service for this PUK code if you need to unlock your SIM card Click on Confirm Business Everywhere is ready to connect 12
13 4 - Launching the connection kit If the detected device is a MiFi, and the code PIN entered is correct, the Business Everywhere will try to enter automatically your admin password factory configured. If the code PIN has not been required, and if you have not already entered your admin password, Business Everywhere will prompt you to enter it : Please consult the documentation of this equipment. Administrator status offers special features to manage your MiFi. For more details, please refer to the Section 6 Kit management tools 13
14 5 - Connection Business Everywhere allows you to connect to the Internet or your corporate network and to switch rapidly between the two with one click. 5.1 First connection When you make your first mobile broadband connection, the kit will automatically detect the technical parameters to be used, so that you do not need to enter them. This operation may take a few minutes. 14
15 5 - Connection 5.2 Connection status No connection was established. Click on connect to Internet or connect to Intranet A connection to the Internet is not fully established (e.g. captive portal for a WiFi hotspot) The Internet connection was successful Connection established, and VPN client launched by the kit Unlike the previous set up, a Corporate IP address has been configured. This enables the kit to verify successful connectivity to the Intranet 15
16 5 - Connection 5.3 Business Everywhere networks The Business Everywhere software automatically detects and displays the best available network with priority given first to Orange wifi access hotspots, then mobile broadband and finally Orange Partner hotspots The connection to Wi-Fi hotposts (Orange and partners) is only enabled if included as part of your Business Everywhere offer To connect, click on the Connect to Internet or Connect to Intranet (when available) button in the kit s interface 16
17 5 - Connection 5.4 Change network When you connect, the kit uses the network displayed to establish the connection. You have the option to change the network chosen by clicking on Change network type. Unavailable networks are greyed out Once the kit is re-launched, the kit returns to an automatically chosen network List of available networks: - Mobile broadband network - Orange wifi access hotspot - Orange wifi access partners hotspot - Private wifi access Switch from 4G to 3G+ Manually select the mobile operator when roaming (even if a better network available) 17
18 5 - Connection 5.5 Flight mode For embedded laptops, the 4G/3G+ module may be de-activated via the laptop software if to be used in flight Alternatively an embedded laptop may automatically go into flight mode after a period of non-connectivity to optimise battery usage If the embedded 4G/3G+ module is deactivated, the connection kit displays a flight mode icon to indicate the situation If you try to connect in this situation, an alert message is displayed You can reactivate the 4G/3G+ module either by a physical button or by the software provided by your laptop manufacturer 18
19 5 - Connection 5.6 Optimise your Internet connection If you are in close proximity to an Orange Wi-Fi access hotspot during a mobile broadband connection, the kit will ask you if you want to automatically switch to the Orange Wi-Fi access network If a connection is established outside of the connection kit, (Wi-Fi or Ethernet), the kit will ask you to disconnect from it before proceeding with the mobile broadband connection, to avoid redundant connection 19
20 5 - Connection If you are already connected to the Internet or Intranet, you can still switch between the mobile network and WiFi, or vice versa. Select the new network in the Change network type menu to start the switch There will be a temporary interruption to the connection whilst the Internet or Intranet connection is re-established over the different network If the switch does not allow to reach the current destination, an alert message is displayed. e. g.: If you are connected to an Intranet through a private APN in mobile broadband, you can t switch to Wi-Fi to access this Intranet 20
21 5 - Connection 5.7 Connecting to Orange and Partner Wi-Fi hotspots When connecting to Orange and partner Wi-Fi access hotspots, the kit assists you with automatic authentication If you have a package which includes unlimited Wi-Fi, the kit will retrieve your Orange Wi-Fi access credentials during your first mobile broadband connection. In the event of a new subscription, an SMS is also automatically sent to your SIM card with the Orange wifi access credentials, which will be automatically installed for you This retrieval of credentials will allow you to connect by Wi-Fi without having to provide any information. You will only need to select the Orange wifi access network in the Change network type menu If automatic recovery password via mobile broadband network does not work, you need to manually enter these credentials with the first Orange wifi access connection 21
22 5 - Connection Please use the Windows Connection Manager to manually enter your Orange wifi access credentials. They will be saved and automatically used for future connections How to set up a wireless connection in Windows Windows 7 Connection Manager If you do not possess these Orange wifi access credentials, please contact your administrator or call Orange Business Services customer service 22
23 5 - Connection 5.8 Select mobile network operator You can manually change the mobile network operator from the Change network operator menu when you are in a roaming situation for example Available operators list will be displayed in a new window You can select the mobile network operator you want to switch to 23
24 5 - Connection 5.9 Connecting to the Intranet (VPN, optional) Business Everywhere also allows you to connect remotely to your Intranet via a VPN client To do this, you need to type in the technical parameters via the Business Everywhere Configuration application, accessible from: Start > All programs > Business Everywhere > Business Everywhere Configuration The interface which opens will allow you to set the parameters of your VPN 24
25 5 - Connection Please select VPN disabled to use the kit in Internet only mode. You will not be able to access your Intranet through the Business Everywhere connection kit in this case, but you will always have the option to do so by launching your VPN client manually outside the connection software Select VPN enabled then complete the lines for the launch and stop commands of the VPN client to be in a position to access your Intranet as well as the Internet. You can also enter the IP address to test the connection to the corporate network. This will allow the connection software to fully determine your connectivity status If you enter wrong VPN client command lines, there will be an error message in the kit while trying to connect to your Intranet nb: If your kit has been generated by your IT manager through the Business Everywhere Administration tool, you do not have access to this interface. Ask your administrator for the necessary information if you need access to this interface 25
26 5 - Connection The Intranet target allows the kit to determine whether the PC has access to the Intranet network. This is an optional setting and may be activated by using the Intranet target group of the Intranet profile tab It is possible to monitor the Intranet connection either by using a ping on an IP address. Please choose a target only reachable through the Intranet If you choose not to activate this function by un-checking Intranet target, the connection kit will not be able to verify whether a successful connection to the corporate network is maintained (reachable ip adress on your corporate network). The VPN launched connection status will be displayed 26
27 5 - Connection 5.10 Switch between the Internet and VPN corporate network If the commands for connecting to and disconnecting from the VPN have been correctly entered, Business Everywhere then allows you to switch between the Internet and your Intranet network while connected Select Internet Surf Switch to Intranet Select Intranet Surf Switch to Internet 27
28 5 - Connection 5.11 Connecting to the Intranet with private Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection (Livebox, etc ) You can access your Intranet network while connected to a private router either with Wi-Fi or cable If your laptop is already connected to Internet with your private Wi-Fi the kit will display it. This is the case when your private Wi-Fi is one of your favourite WiFi networks configured in the Windows wireless manager Please follow the link if you want to know how to set up a wireless connection in Windows 28
29 5 - Connection Select the Connect to Intranet menu to access your Intranet. The kit will automatically launch the VPN client configured in the Business Everywhere configuration tool After the VPN authentication, the kit will display that you are connected to your Intranet through your private Wi-Fi 29
30 5 - Connection 5.12 Double attachment If the application detects a double attachment situation, it indicates this by a specific icon Double attachment icon If a 4G/3G+ dongle is concerned by this situation, a pop-up is displayed to propose to the user to disconnect the 4G/3G+ connection 30
31 5 - Connection If a MiFi is concerned by this situation, a specific pop-up is displayed If you established another outside connection (private Wi-Fi or Ethernet) while connecting through this kit, you will be prompted to disconnect from your mobile connection to avoid redundant connection 31
32 6 -Kit management tools 6.1 Changing the PIN code By default the PIN code is However, as a security measure, we encourage you to change it. Use the Manage PIN code option on the main menu to change the PIN code Click on Change PIN code and follow the instructions You can also enable or disable the PIN code request by clicking on Activate/Deactivate PIN code on the same menu and selecting I do not have a PIN code to enter. You can then connect your 4G/3G+ dongle without having to enter the PIN code every time. If you disable your PIN code, your 4G/3G+ dongle will not be PIN-protected in the event of theft 32
33 6 -Kit management tools 6.2 Managing your usage: counters and thresholds Use the Manage counters and threshold option on the main menu to monitor your usage This function allows you to browse the connection statistics for the month in progress and previous month for Orange and partner Wi-Fi access networks, as well as for mobile broadband, national and international networks (Europe and others countries) These statistics are accounted for by computer, rather than SIM card 33
34 6 -Kit management tools The counters also take into account the duration and volume of data for your WiFi connection (Orange and partners) when connected through your Windows wireless connection manager when the kit is open Please note : This tool allows you to monitor the exchange of data used by the Business Everywhere kit and is not synchronized with the statistics gathered on the network operator side. It is for information purposes only to help you track your usage and has no contractual validity. By default, the counters are reset to zero on the 1st of every month. However, the date on which they are reset to zero can be changed on the Counters and thresholds screen. 34
35 6 -Kit management tools Under this same section, you can set up usage alert thresholds for national and international mobile networks and for Wi-Fi provided by partners: The default values have no contractual validity and simply make it possible to receive alerts when 80% and 100% of the usage thresholds are reached. 35
36 6 -Kit management tools 6.3 Managing your Domino Become the administrator allow you to access special features to manage your Domino (status, sharing, ). Enter the username and password administrator of your equipment. Notification bar MiFi 36
37 6 -Kit management tools The Domino can be used by other users. But you can choose to deactivate Domino sharing. Use the My MiFi option on the main menu to deactivate or activate Domino sharing. Click on Deactivate Domino sharing to stop the sharing. Click on Activate Domino sharing to restart the sharing. An icon indicates the sharing status : sharing activated sharing deactivated 37
38 6 -Kit management tools 6.3 Receiving text messages Business Everywhere allows you to receive information text messages from Orange. On receipt of a new text message, Business Everywhere will display a window on the bottom right of the screen To access the log of text messages received, click on the Message icon visible in the Windows notification area 3 different types of message are displayed: information from Orange about your usage general information messages from Orange private messages, particularly relating to your Orange wifi access credentials 38
39 6 -Kit management tools 6.4 Access to the Business Everywhere ECare My Business Everywhere Ecare is available in the secondary functions section on the interface menu if a connection is established After authentication, you can access to your User ecare 39

The help window shows you how to contact customer service and collects the information that your Orange advisor will ask you for Click on the More info button on the interface to open the Product detail. 41 6 -Kit management tools 6.6 About Business Everywhere The About button is available in the secondary functions section of the menu. Clicking on this shows the current version details of the main components of the connection software 41
42 6 -Kit management tools 6.7 Maintenance releases From time to time, Orange may release an updated version of Business Everywhere software The kit looks for available updates whenever a Windows session is opened and at regular intervals after that. If an update is available, it asks if you would like to download the update If you click on Yes, this update package is automatically downloaded and will be installed on the next Windows session opening you click on No, the update will be proposed again 8 days later 42
43 7 -Troubleshooting 7.1 General Check that the 4G/3G+ dongle is properly connected or that the 4G/3G+ module integrated into your PC is properly enabled Check that your SIM card is properly inserted Make sure that you are in an area with good mobile coverage If problems persist, please contact Orange customer service 7.2 Customer service You can reach your customer service at the usual number indicated in the Help window. Keep your Orange number for your 4G/3G+ subscription handy. Orange assistance will ask you the number which is written in the Help window in the connection software. 43
44 8 - Frequently asked questions (FAQ) What happens if the SIM card is not entered into the 4G/3G+ dongle or the 4G/3G+ module integrated to your computer? Without the SIM card, you cannot connect to the Orange mobile network. However, access to Orange and partners Wi-Fi access networks is possible without the SIM card. In which countries can I use Business Everywhere? To browse the list of countries where Orange has set up agreements, refer to Before travelling, check that the 3G+ modem which you are using is compatible with the bandwidth frequencies used in the country to which you are going. What is a PC with an integrated 4G/3G+ module? A PC with an integrated 4G/3G+ module is a PC which makes it possible to establish 4G/3G+ communications without having to plug in a 4G/3G+ dongle. The SIM card is inserted directly into the PC. I have an error message on launch: wlanapi.dll is not present. Business Everywhere requires certain Windows service packs to be able to operate properly. Please refer to Section 2 Installing Business Everywhere for further details. 44
45 8 - Frequently asked questions (FAQ) How do I know which are the best available networks? The kit automatically manages the connection to the best available network. What is a Wi-Fi hotspot? A hotspot is an access point to the Internet which is wireless (Wi-Fi). It is a bounded location which gives access to a wireless network and allows the mobile terminal user to connect easily to the Internet. You can connect to an Orange hotspot from your Business Everywhere kit in the «Change network» section or indeed via your Windows manager. How can I recover my Wi-Fi credentials? If your package includes unlimited Wi-Fi, authentication for Orange and partner Wi-Fi access hotspots will take place automatically. Your credentials will be sent to you by and SMS to your Business Everywhere SIM card. What is a VPN? A VPN (Virtual Private Network) is an interconnection of secure networks which makes it possible in particular to establish a connection over a corporate network. 45
46 8 - Frequently asked questions (FAQ) Is it possible to go through the kit to connect myself to my private Wi-Fi? To connect to your favorites private Wi-Fi access, you can use your Business Everywhere connection kit. To do this, it will be necessary to declare the first time in your Windows Connection Manager. The Business Everywhere connection kit manages the connections of Orange and its partners (2G, 3G, 3G +, 4G and Wi-Fi) and your two favorites private Wi-Fi access for a better experience. Under what circumstances should I switch from 3G+ to 2G? To take advantage of the best connection available at any given time, it is recommended that the kit be left to choose the best available connection. However, in the event of connection problems on the 3G+ network or when your Customer Service advisor invites you to do so, it may be necessary to switch to 2G. How can I stop the kit? The kit can be closed by right-clicking on the notification area icon and then selecting Quit. It should be noted that - without restarting your PC - the kit must again be launched from the shortcut in the desktop or from your «Start» menu before any new connection is established. 46
