IDC Field Wireable eurofast & picofast Connectors picofast Field Wireable IDC Connector eurofast Field Wireable IDC Connector Overview Connection Technology has proven to be an effective alternative to stripping and soldering wire terminations. Used in the telecommunications industry for over 30 years, this same technology is now available for industrial automation applications that use the eurofast (M12) or picofast (M8) field wireable connectors. Product Features and Benefits The IDC Field Wireables are easy to assemble using a AWG cable. The cable jacket is stripped and the conductors threaded into the color-coded insert, followed with the strain relief and back end of the coupling nut, than screwed together with the front end for a completed assembly. The insert contains fork-shaped bladed contacts, utilizing the installation force to press the unstripped conductors between the terminating blades.
