The complete detector set consists of a base unit, an Alpha, Beta, Gamma probe and accessories pack contained in a transport box. A combined Gamma and Beta radiation detection probe with extended measuring range for Gamma radiation is available as an optional extra. Due to the extremely high detection performance, the instrument is suitable for use by the military, civil defence, first responders, in nuclear waste storage sites, nuclear power plants or radiological laboratories. The detection principle is based on Geiger-Mueller counting tubes, semiconductor and scintillation detectors. The SVG3 is capable of the: Measurement of the dose rate of Gamma and x-ray radiation, Measurement of the dose of Gamma and x-ray radiation, Searching for Alpha and Beta radiation sources on surfaces and measurement of the corresponding radiation, Searching for neutron radiation sources and measurement of thermal and fast neutron flux density (optional) Key features of the instrument are: Automatic selection between measurement intervals and ranges, Auto - Identification of attached probes, Integrated GPS/GLONASS module, Data logger capable of storing 1500 measurement results and up to 2200 accumulated dose values linked to GPS data, Hardened according to military standards (large temperature range -30 to +55 C), Simple operation with intuitive controls, minimum training required, Flexible battery concept (commercial batteries and integrated solar panel), USB interface information and are subject to changes without notice. 1 of 10
