2 The instruments / measuring systems must correspond with the following specifications: 1 Design of the instrument 1.1 Construction Product names Sunit taximeter model fc2, type SFDIN AT consists of: CPU type SFDIN AT (Central processor unit) Display model F / f7, type FDP5X-0700WVR404LO Supplementary display type CAN LCD PC Speaker, GPRS/GPS antenna, security camera and alarm button were connected to the system, but are not included in this approval. A printer can be connected to the system, but is not a requirement according to directive 2014/32/EU. Measuring system description The taximeter is designed to measure time and receive information to calculate distance. Time is measured by its internal real time clock and distance is calculated by the number of pulses received from the pulse generator of the car in relation to the given pulse constant. The supply voltage is taken from the battery of the vehicle. For connections see the schematic pictures below. 4 Supply voltage Taximeter SFDIN At: V Connection to pulse generator of the vehicle The pulse from the pulse generator of the car is to fulfil the following the requirements according to the manufacturer: The distance signal generator output should produce low level by connecting taximeter pulse input signal to ground. The current in that state must be strong enough to make voltage on pulse input to go below maximum voltage level specified by manufacturer (Vin,low=3.5V max). Minimum value for Vin high is 5.0V. Output impedance shall be less than 1 kohm. The sufficient marginal for disturbance and setup time for stable voltage level must be also considered. The upper limit for input frequency of distance pulses is 2 khz. The minimum value for a constant of distance signal generator is 500 pulses/km. Maximum value for k-factor is float type max value 3.4E Software The validation of software was based on the essential requirements given in MID and WELMEC Guide 7.2. A report with number 6P , dated was issued and is held by SP. In order to fulfil the requirements of directive 2014/32/EU the parameter externaldisplayseparatesupplements ( Lisämaksu eritelty ) must be set to K. The parameter is shown if pressing Aset. (Configurations), Raportit (Report) Asetukset (Settings), the code 9999 and then scrolling down to Lisämaksu eritelty (Supplements separated). 7 5.3 Calibration-/adjustment procedure The taximeter can be controlled after installation in a car in the following way. Accuracy of distance measurement To check the accuracy of distance measurement the following procedure is to be followed: Drive exact one kilometre in Measurements view (Mittausnäyttö) which is available from Service mode (Huolto). The system shows the driven distance under the Limit speed breakdown/distance. Accuracy of time measurement To check the accuracy of time measurement the following procedure is to be followed: Check the Waiting fare accuracy by driving slower than the limit speed (cross-over speed) and compare the duration and price with the Waiting fare in the Settings report (Asetukset). If you drive for example half an hour, the price is half of the price shown in the report. The accuracy of the measured time can be checked with a calibrated clock. 6 Security measures 6.1 Sealing The taximeter is sealed according to page 7 and 8. The CPU is to be sealed to the vehicles by means of the sealed cables. Cables for supply voltage and pulses are sealed in accordance with figure 6 and 7. The CPU itself can not be opened without breaking any of the sealings mentioned below. To prevent the display from being separated from the CPU the cable is sealed in accordance with figure 8. 9 6.2 Data logger The taximeter is designed to store totalized values for one year by using automatic control of memory backup. Values are automatically stored to Nonvolatile RAM. Used Ferroelectric NVRAM module (FM28V100) has data retention time of 10 years. Totalized values are also stored to SSD of the device. Change of program version will be stored in non-volatile memory. The taximeter has an event log which is showing loading of new program version, change of k-value and change of tariff. The event log is shown as part of a report, which can be reached by pressing Aset. (Configurations), Raportit (Report), Asetukset (Settings), the code 9999 and then scroll down. Information regarding change of k-value is found under K-arvo (K-value) and the dates of change are evident from Muutettu (Changed). Under the tariff information Taksat (Tariffs) the dates of changes can be read as Muutettu (Changed). Information regarding software changes can be found under Ohjelmaversio (Program version). 7 Labelling and inscriptions 7.1 Information to be borne by the instrument The marking on the instrument shall contain the following information: - manufacturer s mark and name - manufacturer s postal address - accuracy - measurement capacity - measurement range (maximum pulse frequency and minimum pulses/km) - type designation - serial number - number of the EU type examination certificate (module B) - markings regarding other approvals Figure 13 and 14: Placement of marking on the CPU and Warenty sealing Figure 15 and 16: Type label and extension label The certificate, including appendices consists of 11 pages where this is page 9.

10 Marking of the display is to be placed on the rear side. Figure 17 and 18: Placment of marking on the main display,marking of the mail display. 7.2 Conformity marking in accordance to MID article 17 The instrument shall be marked in accordance to MID article 17 which e.g. describes the CEmarking together with M, year of marking and the notified body number. 7.2 Further inscriptions, if necessary Further inscriptions e.g. e- or E-marking and national markings are necessary, but are not connected to this directive. 8 Manuals The following manuals are to accompany the different systems in the official language of the country of use (the manufacturer is responsible for the translation of approved documents). 11 Dry Heat OIML D11 with testing according at IEC test Bd, but with the duration 16h and the highest temperature +55 C. The test object was connected to power during the test. Cold OIML D11 with testing according at IEC edition 5 revision 2 test Ab at -25 C an with a duration of 16h. The test object was not connected to power during the test. Functional testing was carried out at -25 C. Cyclic damp heat/ Tow cycles of damp heat was carried out according to IEC edition 2 revision 1. test Db. temperature: +55 C.
