1 EOD World Leader in Supplying SUICIDE BOMBERS RADAR TA01015 OVERVIEW Bomber Radar is a stand-off, automated, suicide-bomber detection capability. It uses visible cameras to acquire and track pedestrian subjects, and low-power radar to scan the subject s torso area for indications of a suicide vest, weapons, or concealed contraband. Bomber Radar is able to accomplish this interrogation within a few seconds while the subject is at a stand-off distance. Counter-has two modes of operation: manual tracking, which facilitates screening in less-structured public venues; and automatic mode, which facilitates screening in highly controlled areas. Bomber Radar is safe for both operators and those being screened, has a very low false-alarm rate, and does not compromise the subject s privacy during screening.
