This document lists the current devices supported within CROSSBOW. Siemens is constantly adding and expanding to this list, so check with your RSM or other contact for current information. 2 Advanced support Support for pass-through connections and remote connectivity The RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW Secure Access Manager provides secure remote access to a broad range of Intelligent Electronic Device s (IEDs) and other remote systems. This document lists the current devices supported within CROSSBOW. Siemens is constantly adding and expanding to this list, so check with your RSM or other contact for current information. RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW can support pass-through connections and remote connectivity to virtually any device, no matter what their physical interface (serial, dial-up, or Ethernet). We have successfully tested pass-through/remote connectivity to devices from the following vendors: Siemens ABB GE Alstom/Areva Novatech Ametek RFL Basler Beckwith Satec Bitronics Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories Cisco Telvent Erlphase Various HMIs via RDP or Web Garrettcom If you are interested in a device that does not appear on this list, please contact Ruggedcom personnel. In most cases, RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW will support remote connectivity without modification. We would be happy to support the testing of any device. Note: Remote connectivity and pass-through connections have been tested as of the publication date of this document. Changes to vendor firmware or application software may affect compatibility with CROSSBOW. Advanced support Advanced support is discussed in several sections that follow. In all cases, the following legend applies: Y = supported in RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW - = not supported in RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW n/a = not supported by device Enhanced functionality and support for additional devices are implemented in each release of RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW. Priorities are set by customer request. Please contact RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW personnel to discuss requests for additional functionality. Password management Login: RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW can log into the device automatically, with the appropriate user name and password. Change Password: RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW can change the password to a specified or random password. Synch Passwords: RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW can update internal gateway records of passwords of downstream/known devices, either on demand or when the device passwords are changed. 2 Advanced support

5 Config retrieve: RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW can read the device configuration, and compare it to an approved baseline. Config restore: RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW can restore a previously retrieved configuration for a device. Read F/W (firmware) version: RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW can read the version or versions of firmware and compare it to the expected version(s). Firmware update: RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW can push new firmware to the device.
