These rugged, reliable products are designed to increase efficiency, productivity and safety throughout the entire oil and gas production process. Controllers and I/O Our VME-based PLCs and I/O modules provide links to items such as drives and drive systems, servomotor controllers, vision systems and bus-to-bus interface modules. They can also be combined with our Genius Modular Redundancy (GMR) systems and Hot Standby systems to provide as much redundancy as necessary. GMR is an ideal choice for rigorous emergency shutdown and human life protection systems. The GMR System has a class 6 TÜV rating. High Performance Computer Boards Take your pick of form factors, processors, processing speeds, memory configuration, I/O and operating system. And choose from a broad selection of accessories and expansion cards for video, storage and network connectivity. Many of our single board computers and associated components are available in rugged versions, including conduction cooling, and with independent laboratory certifications. Flat Panel Systems for Hazardous Environments Our Flat Panel Systems are highperformance, fully functional computers with flexible I/O, memory and storage capabilities and extremely bright and durable touch screens. They are deployed in some of the toughest places on earth, and have proven that they can stand up to heat, cold, rain, snow, salt mist, sunlight, corrosive gas, shock, vibration and careless users. Triple Redundant LANs. Our Genius I/O blocks provide predictable system operation in the event of a CPU, bus interface, or network cable failure. Based on three isolated PLCs and extensive diagnostics, the triple modular redundancy system uses two-out-of-three voting to provide high reliability and errorfree operation. The Genius blocks shift automatically to a backup CPU if the main controller fails to communicate. Genius systems achieve enhanced hot standby CPU redundancy by connecting two power supplies and two CPUs to one or more Genius I/O networks. Application-tuned Software Our oil and gas production software suite, Proficy Process Systems, is a state-of-the-art, scalable, fully integrated software offering for process automation and control. The high-availability features of Proficy software have been proven in hundreds of installations globally and are SIL 3 certified for safety critical applications like ESD, BOP, F&G, BMS. Proficy software also offers wide area SCADA, local monitoring and control for terminal automation and fuel dispensing systems. Oil & Gas

5 Wireless Networking and Control TranSphere Wireless is an integrated, scalable family of industrial, wireless communication products including extended range wireless. TranSphere Wireless products allow you to bring business information onto an IP network. This includes mission-critical, revenue-generating data from fixed assets such as oil and gas wells, compressor stations, pipelines, fluid storage tanks and utility meters. It can also be used in vehicles to provide mobile network access. Data Acquisition and Storage Our PC-based real-time data Acquisition/ Processing/Networking systems can be tailored to specific user requirements. The daqpc, for example, is designed for real-time acquisition, processing and archiving or playback of analog signals. It provides high channel count and/or high bandwidth capability. The high-speed record/playback capability of the daqpc using removable hard drives delivers sustained record/ playback speeds over 600 MBytes/s. Test and Measurement Our data acquisition, signal conditioning and software products are designed to meet your budget and performance requirements, whatever they may be. Our digital data recording software supports industry standard data formats. Our signal conditioning systems are designed for low noise, high speed, flexible configuration, and easy expandability. And our data acquisition software suite supports third party equipment and provides complete test control from a single software package. Systems and Enclosures We are specialists in combining flat panel displays and touch screens, integrated with PC compatible computer systems. Utilizing packaging and mounting techniques we developed for industrial and hazardous areas, our systems perform in the most demanding environments. We offer highavailability, industrial grade servers for long-lifecycle applications which require revision control. To endure harsh industrial workplaces, these servers also offer optional extended operating temperature, extended shock and vibration specifications, and remote maintenance and BIT. Custom Products Are Standard Procedure For many customers, the most important thing we offer is our ability to quickly adapt existing products to their requirements. We also create fully custom products, and we offer rapid prototyping and in-house testing services. Our capabilities include testing for extended temperatures and environments of extreme vibration and shock. Subsystem Integration and Test We provide Integration and Test services to aid customer development as needed. These services include everything from hardware and software integration to regulatory certification on a project-byproject basis.
