1 XR20-W spares list Overview This application note lists the available spares for the XR20-W rotary axis calibrator. To order spares please contact your local Renishaw office at Description Mounting ring The mounting ring bolts or clamps directly to the surface of machine and locks the XR20-W in position. Part number A Mounting ring adaptor 150 mm Enables fitting to rotary tables with unsuitable centre recesses. Can also be used to secure the XR20-W to the chuck adaptor and custom mounts. A Chuck (lathe) adaptor 40 mm diameter to fit most popular chuck sizes. Precision machined to ensure correct XR20-W alignment with test axis. A Centration aid Fits temporarily inside the mounting ring to assist visual centration before XR20-W insertion. Spring fitting enables secure use even when inverted. Central boss for dial gauge measurement. A CARTO The CARTO suite is made up of two applications; Capture and Explore to provide powerful analysis to international standards and more. Download CARTO here CARTO features a database system which automatically stores and organises data for the user. This simplifies operation and allows users to quickly and easily compare data across multiple machines over time. Fixings kit Complete set of screws and allen keys for XR20-W. A Application note

2 Off axis rotary software Allows XR20-W rotary axis measurement on applications where mounting on the centre of rotation isn t possible, extending use to many five axis machine tools. The software application provides an offset calculator, part program generator, data cleaner and a comprehensive manual. 90 bracket kit Provides a high specification mounting solution for both on and off axis rotary measurement. The bracket can be mounted with the removable high power magnetic feet or a variety of through holes for direct bolt attachment. The kit is supplied in a heavy duty transport case. A A Magnet kit - matched set Comprises of 3 matched magnets. Note: this is part of the XR20-W 90 bracket kit A Battery Li-Polymer 3.7V High-power rechargeable lithium battery A Battery charger & cables Battery charger and a set of three power cables (UK, Euro and USA). A Battery cover Replacement battery cover for XR20-W. A USB cover plug Replacement protective plug for USB socket on XR20-W. A USB cable 5m HP XR20-W can be powered with USB cable in conjunction with the USB power supply (see below). Older spec USB cables may not support XR20-W current draw. Manufacturers specification: 28AWG/2C (for signals) and 20AWG/2C (for power). A USB power supply USB/mains supply adaptors (UK, Euro and USA). A
