6 Mounting Screw Length Mounting Surface L B Warning In situations where the included #10 x 5/16 mounting screws are too short, and other screws must be used to fasten the LCM640CS housing to a mounting surface or bracket, the following formula should be used to determine the proper screw length. A= Mounting Surface Thickness B= 5/16 = Max Screw depth into LCM640CS Housing L= Maximum Screw Length LCM640CS Housing L 5/16 + A Example: A = Material Thickness = ½ L = Maximum Screw Length = 5/16 + ½ = 13/16 A Failure to check the screw length using this method may result in permanent damage to this product and will not be covered under warranty. 5
