The FFE accepts higher fiber count outdoor cables, allowing SC or LC pigtails to be spliced while the remaining fiber cable continues for subsequent connections. The integrated splice tray folds and locks to protect the fibers, making subscriber adapters accessible for pre-terminated outdoor fiber drop cable connections. The compact design accommodates both splice and patch for single subscriber connections. The compact, fully sealed enclosure can be wall mounted or installed within a handhole or pedestal, providing both an optical connection point and service provider test point outside of the building.
