4 Manufacturer certification i.a.w. EN The new series of standards EN 1090 Parts 1 to 3 have replaced the previously applicable national standards for the manufacturing of load-bearing steel or aluminium structures in the field of construction supervision (e.g. DIN and DIN V ). Since 1 July 2014, only manufacturers who have been audited and certified by an independent notified body in accordance with the EN standard will be permitted to place load-bearing steel or aluminium structures on the EU market. TÜV SÜD Industrie Service is a notified body recognised by Germany s national approval body (Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik, DIBt) and as such is authorised to carry out assessment and certification. ASME code services The ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code is the leading internationally accepted standard for the design, manufacturing and testing of pressure equipment and components worldwide. Components built in compliance with the ASME Code are not only recognised in the USA and Canada but in another 90 or so countries. ASME certification enables companies to place their products on international markets, thus opening the door to clients operating at international level. Our authorised ASME inspectors (AIs) offer efficient support on all aspects related to the ASME Code. We also offer combined system certification in accordance with the PED (module audits) and EN ISO Certification in accordance with the EN ISO 9001 standard is frequently demanded by clients.
