2 Connect 2020 Agenda for global telecommunication/ict development 2 Connect 2020 sets out the shared vision, goals and targets that ITU Member States have committed to work to achieve by 2020 in collaboration with all stakeholders across the ICT ecosystem Connect 2020 Vision: An information society, empowered by the interconnected world, where telecommunication/icts enable and accelerate social, economic and environmentally sustainable growth and development for everyone Connect 2020 Goals:

4 Setting the Connect 2020 Agenda during the elaboration of the ITU Strategic Plan The goals and targets elaborated in the process of the elaboration of the ITU strategic plan for Open and participatory process CWG was open to Member States and Sector Members Secretariat s input included Public Consultation and Staff Survey 3 Public Consultations in total Gathered inputs from the ICT industry, international, regional and national associations and organizations, civil society, as well as public administrations
