3 Global SDG indicator framework Developed by the IAEG-SDGs Adopted by the UN Statistical Commission at its 48 th session Voluntary and country-led instrument Initial set of 232 global indicators: To be refined and comprehensively reviewed by the Commission in 2020 and 2025 To be complemented by indicators at the regional and national levels
4 Cape Town Global Action Plan for Sustainable Development Data Framework for the design and implementation of country-led statistical capacity building activities necessary to achieve the 2030 Agenda Adopted by Statistical Commission at its 48th Session Proposes key actions in six strategic areas: 1.
