3 The Company eurofunk Kappacher GmbH is an Austrian company with its head office in St. Johann in Pongau. The company was founded in 1969 and is mainly active as a system supplier for operation centre and communications technology. The core of eurofunk s work consists in the planning and construction of control centres and system solutions for public security, but also for industrial and commercial outfits with extra security needs. eurofunk is a one stop shop for security centres, but can also deal with all requirements for a modern operation centre and deliver with its own in-house products and system solutions. 4 4 Planning Precise planning is the keystone of every operation centre project. Together with your planning team, we will analyse your requirements on-site. This is essential so that we can build an understanding of your current processes and frameworks. 7 Communication without Borders In today s security and catastrophe management, current information on situations and strengths represent the main strategic resources. If the tasks at hand are thus to be fulfilled reliably, efficient and cross-media communication and the consolidation of information in the operation centre are pre-conditions. Systems which try to tackle this challenge must have high availability, fault tolerance and flexibility, in addition to being intuitive to use. eurofunk s speech communication system IDDS (Integrated Digital Dispatching System) offers a secure and highly-flexible platform with which the various communication paths can be combined into a touchscreen interface. Technologies such as emergency telephones, ISDN, VoIP, digital transmission, analogue transmission, ELA, intercoms, video calling and many more are all integrated. The communications system is a high-availability system with decentralised intelligence, ensuring cross-site, secure and networked communications over large distances and various media. 7

8 8 Operation Centre Desks When planning operation centres, we take a central role in both the basic spatial design and in the operation centre technologies. For these, we set the highest requirements: Stringent ergonomic requirements to ensure 24-hour service Excellent range of viewing angles via typically three to six monitors Integration of electronics and PC systems in addition to control panels with low noise generation Electronic and height-adjustable work surfaces Electronic height adjustment for monitors Clear desk concept Extremely polite service and easy accessibility All of these requirements have been taken care of in our various desk products, which will be individually planned according to your wishes and adapted to your spatial concept. Our desks are made of premium materials such as aluminium or natural wood and built to the highest standards in Austria.

9 Multimedia and Video Walls In our multimedia world, the intelligent and comprehensive provision of visual images from various sources a key, especially in an operation centre. To provide this, we plan video wall systems for your operation centre; these systems support all your visual information equipment, regardless of whether they use video images, TV, or software applications. Using modern management and splitting software, image rendering can be in a way totally customised to your wishes. To ensure continuous service, the following technologies are used: 9 Rear projections: Making it possible to install large video wall systems using wireless and stackable cubes. The long lifetime duration and the no-bezel image projection are particular advantages. LCD Screen: Using special LCD screens with particularly thin bezels means that extremely cost-effective video wall solutions are possible, even when space is at a premium in the operation centre.
