2 Product Features Flexibility Customers can purchase VMware Infrastructure 3 software direct from HP. Customers can expand an existing ESX 2 infrastructure. Customers can migrate an existing ESX 2 environment to VI3 by purchasing VI3 upgrade software. Customers may upgrade the standard 1-year 9x5 unlimited support and subscription service bundled with their VMware software to either 1-year 24x7 or 3-year 9x5 or 24x7 support. Manageability The ProLiant Essentials Virtualization Management Software (PEVMS) provides central management and control of your VMware virtual machines. Integrated with HP Systems Insight Manager, Virtual Machine Manager (VMM), provides unified management of virtual machines and supports HP ProLiant host server resources Provides the ability to manage both physical and virtual resources from a single management console. Simplifies day-to-day management and operation of virtual machines. ProLiant Essentials Server Migration Pack (SMP), a companion product to the Virtual Machine Management Pack, automates the manual processes required for a physical server to virtual machine (P2V) migration.
