Having already invested in a software-defined datacenter solution to enable this goal, it needed help turning its vision into reality. Solution The customer turned to existing IT managed services partner Computacenter to help it leverage its investments in the VMware tools. This involved building a private cloud infrastructure based on VMware Virtual SAN for enterprise-class shared storage, VMware NSX for network virtualization and the VMware vcloud Suite for hybrid cloud management. Computacenter is also providing managed services for the new platform. Results The customer now has a resilient software-defined datacenter environment that will enable it to meet its goals for self-service provisioning and greater agility.
