Customers who purchased a vsphere Enterprise or vsphere Enterprise Plus license from an authorized OEM partner should contact their OEM partner for any upgrade offers. If the OEM partner is not currently offering upgrades to vcloud Suite, customers may elect to upgrade directly with a VMware authorized reselling partner; however, no credit will be issued by VMware for any unused support and/or maintenance fees paid by customers directly to the OEM partner. Additional Terms & Conditions for the upgrade from vsphere Enterprise Plus to vcloud Suite Standard (CL5-VEPL-STD-UG-PRO, CL5-VEPL-STD-UG-APRO, and CL5-VEPL-STD-UG-FPRO) The following terms apply to customers who upgrade from vsphere Enterprise Plus to vcloud Suite Standard and supersede any conflicting terms above. The upgrade from vsphere Enterprise Plus to vcloud Suite Standard is available on the VMware Web Store, in addition to VMware authorized reselling partners or directly with VMware. For the upgrade from vsphere Enterprise Plus to vcloud Suite Standard, the existing Support and Subscription (SnS) contract will persist and no additional SnS fees are required at time of purchase. The new SnS rate will be charged at the next renewal. When the upgrade is selected, the same level of support must be chosen for the upgrade that covered the original vsphere Enterprise Plus license. For example, if the vsphere Enterprise Plus was covered by VMware Basic SnS, then the upgrade to vcloud Suite Standard must also have VMware Basic SnS. For the upgrade from vsphere Enterprise Plus to vcloud Suite Standard, additional vcloud Suite Standard licenses can be purchased at the vsphere Enterprise Plus price.
