10 Migration There is no currently no direct upgrade path from vcloud Usage Meter versions 2.2 and earlier because of significant database schema changes

11 Managing Customers Customers consuming Service Provider resources can be entered into vcloud Usage Meter manually through UI or upload via tab separated file. Customer Name, Country, and Postal Code are all required fields Restricted customers are allowed only on approval from VSPP program office Usage Meter version 2.3 supports 1000 customers

12 Managing Customers Rules Customer rules are the relationship between a customer and the associated vsphere inventory objects they are mapped to. 14 Reports Detailed Billing Report Contains detailed usage records for the month without the virtual machine names displayed in report. Detailed Usage Report Contains detailed usage records for the month with the virtual machine names displayed in report Customer Summary Report Displays summary of customers vram usage by license type and license category License Summary Report Displays summary of service providers monthly vram usage by license type and license category Product Report Displays service provider usage of other VSPP products Customer Product Report Displays customer usage of other VSPP products

15 Reports All Reports can be filtered based on Customer Country Postal Code License Set Usage reports are displayed for month and year selected in UI Per VM Memory Cap defaults to 24 GB unless modified by user Reports can be exported by tab separated file or by zip
