17 Data Compression for SAP HANA Sizing SAP states 7:1 compression for non-sap NetWeaver BW data and 4:1 compression for SAP NetWeaver BW data However, calculated memory requirement must be doubled to take objects created during runtime SAP compression ratios do not consider compression that is already present in the source database SAP sizing tools calculate uncompressed data size for DB2 For other databases, consult with DBA to determine factor to calculate uncompressed data size SAP HANA Inspirience day An event of T-Systems and HP Nederland, powered by SAP
