8 Introduction Introduction Materials Pricing identifies the price to assign to an Ident so that it is possible to know or evaluate the cost of materials involved in specific design layout from the Bill of Materials (BOM). 9 Defining Catalog Data Defining Catalog Data A Catalog is a collection of project-independent items like Catalog Sections, Items Layouts, Price Names, Extra Prices, and Catalog Items. The Catalogs are basically of two types Normal Catalog and Extra Price Catalog. Extra Price Catalog is a special kind of Catalog that identifies specific attributes describing deviations with respect to what is listed in Catalog Layout and Item Layout. This section tells you how to create Catalogs and how to define Catalog Data for the Catalogs. 10 Defining Catalog Data Creating a Catalog Catalogs are created on the screen AS Catalogs. The layout of the screen AS is shown as follows: To create a Catalog, you must enter the following information: Catalog Name - User given name for the Catalog. Rev Date - This is the date of revision of the catalog. By default, the system date comes up here. You can change it if required. Short Desc - Short description of the Catalog. Description - Long description of the Catalog. Extra Price - Select this check box when you are creating an Extra Price Catalog. Do not select this check box if it is a Normal Catalog. 8 SmartPlant Materials Materials Price Lists

11 Defining Catalog Data You cannot change the following information as this data is available by default: Rev - Revision of the Catalog. This value starts from 0. Rev Status - Status of the Catalog Revision. The default value is OPEN. Display Options - In order to query all the Catalogs that have been created, click All. When you click Highest Rev, only the highest revision of each Catalog will be displayed. The following three buttons are available on this screen: Freeze Catalog Revision - Freezes the chosen Catalog. The Rev Status of that Catalog is automatically changed to APPROVED. This button is available only for those Catalogs whose Rev Status is WORKING. Note: Once you initiate this step, the corresponding Catalog Data cannot be modified. New Revision - Creates a new revision of the chosen Catalog. Rev Status of the generated Catalog will be OPEN. This button is available only for those Catalogs whose Rev Status is APPROVED. Check Catalog Consistency - Checks a set of criteria (mentioned below) to decide whether a Catalog is consistent or not. If a Catalog is consistent, its Rev Status changes to WORKING ; otherwise, the Rev Status is INVALID. This button is not available for those Catalogs whose Rev Status is APPROVED. The following criteria are checked to decide if a Catalog is consistent or not: The selected Catalog should have at least one Catalog Section associated to it on the screen AS Catalogs: Window 1. Every Catalog Section of the selected Catalog should have at least one Price Name associated to it on the screen AS Catalogs: Window 2 Tab-page Price Names. Every Price Name should have one attribute declared for Price and should be a numeric field. This is done on AS Catalogs: Window 5. Every Catalog Section of the selected Catalog should be associated to a Geometric table depending on the following conditions. If the project default ZX_MANGEOM is set to Y (which is the default value of the project default), then the Geometric becomes mandatory in creating Catalog Items. Hence, it should be entered either in Catalog Layouts in Window 1 or in the Item Geometrics in Window 2 Tab Page Item Layouts. If the project default is set to N, then the Geometric is not mandatory in creating Catalog Items. The above check is not performed in case of Extra Price Catalogs. Hence, in this project, the default check is performed only for normal Catalogs. SmartPlant Materials Materials Price Lists 9

12 Defining Catalog Data If any of the above conditions fail, then it implies that the Catalog is inconsistent. Otherwise, the Catalog is consistent. Creating a Catalog Section You can double-click the field Catalog Name to navigate to AS10.04 Catalogs: Window 2, where you can create Catalog Sections. You can also navigate to this block by clicking the Next Block button in the Toolbar with the cursor in the Catalogs block. To create a Catalog Section, you must enter the following information: Catalog Section Name - Name of the Catalog Section. Where Condition - The Where condition you want to associate with the corresponding Catalog Section for filtering the component selection. The List of Values (LOV) on this field shows all the Where Conditions defined on the screen A Where Conditions for the module AS Catalogs. Double-clicking this field opens the screen A Where Conditions by querying the details of the selected where condition. Note: This field is disabled for Extra Price Catalogs. Geometric - The Geometric to be associated with the corresponding Catalog Section. This field becomes mandatory depending on the value of the project default ZX_MANGEOM as mentioned above. The LOV on this field shows all the Commodity Geometrics defined on S Commodity Geometrics. The additional indicator Relation in the LOV displays Yes if the corresponding Geometric is related to the commodity codes satisfying the selected Where Condition. 13 Defining Catalog Data Note: For Extra Price Catalogs, the LOV on this field displays all the geometrics from the screen S Commodity Geometrics, without any additional indicator. Where Condition disabled for Extra Price Catalog Creating Item Layouts Item Layouts is comprised of Item Details and Item Geometrics. You can double-click the field Catalog Section Name to navigate to the AS10.04 Catalogs: Window 3 Tab page Item Layouts, where you can provide Item Details and Item Geometrics to define Item Layout. You can also navigate to this page by clicking the Next Block button in the Toolbar with the cursor in the Catalog Layouts block. Either Item Details or Item Geometrics or both are used to generate Catalog Items. SmartPlant Materials Materials Price Lists 11

14 Defining Catalog Data Creating Item Details To create Item Details, enter the following information: Tablename - The name of the Commodity Attribute Table. The LOV on this field lists all the Commodity Attribute Tables from the Commodity Rules associated with the Commodity Parts satisfying the selected Where Condition in the Catalog Section. Note: For Extra Price Catalogs, this field displays all the tables from A Tables which are of table type COMMATTR as you cannot associate a WHERE Condition with an Extra Price Catalog. Table Group - The LOV on this field lists the Table Groups corresponding to the Tablename selected. Table Detail - The LOV on this field lists the Table Details corresponding to the Tablename and Table Group selected. Constraint: A maximum of only 10 distinct tables are considered for creating Catalog Items. The number of distinct tables being used can be determined from the field Seq, which displays a number for every unique table within a Catalog Section. 12 SmartPlant Materials Materials Price Lists

15 Defining Catalog Data Creating Item Geometrics To create Item Geometrics, enter the following information: Geometric - By default, this field fetches the geometric associated with the Catalog Section on AS Catalogs: Window 2. However, you can override this default geometric. This field becomes mandatory depending on the value of the project default ZX_MANGEOM as mentioned before. The LOV on this field displays all the Commodity Geometrics defined on S Commodity Geometrics. The additional indicator Relation in the LOV displays Yes if the corresponding Geometric is related to the commodity codes satisfying the selected Where Condition. Otherwise, the indicator displays No. Note: For Extra Price Catalogs, the LOV on this field shows all the geometrics from the screen S Commodity Geometrics, without any additional indicator. From Input Value of Input 1 to 5 of the selected Geometric. To Input Value of Input 1 to 5 of the selected Geometric. Single Price - Select it to allow the system to generate only one line Item with the value of the Inputs separated by using the string to in the Catalog Items for the specified input range. Note: You cannot update Single Price if the from size details are entered without the to size details. Note: The number of inputs available for a record depends on the Geometric selected. When Generate Catalog Items is clicked, the software generates the Catalog Items based on the Item Layout information. This process deletes already existing Catalog Item data and re-generates the Catalog Items. Exceptions in this process are given as follows: If Catalog Items that were created manually exist (Manual = Y ), these Catalog Items are not deleted. If any Catalog Item has the Delete option selected and if it is re-generated by the process of generating Catalog Items, then it is created with the Delete option selected. Otherwise, the item is deleted permanently. SmartPlant Materials Materials Price Lists 13

16 Defining Catalog Data Creating a Price Name Price Names are created on the page Price Names on AS Catalogs: Window 3. Price Name - The given name of the price. You have an option to choose from a range of values using the LOV. For a Normal Catalog, either the query specified in the Derived From field or the valid values mentioned for the attribute on A Attributes provide the source for different values. The attribute is mapped to the project default ZX_PLATTR and the source for the LOV on this field is obtained. For an Extra Price Catalog, the query specified in the Derived From field / valid values of the attribute (from A Attributes ) specified for the project default ZX_EPLATTR is the source for the LOV on this field. For a Normal Catalog, the following fields are visible: Currency - Currency of the Price. By default, this field is populated from the project default ZX_CURCY. However, if you want to change it, you can use the LOV on this field, which shows the currencies from the screen A Units of Measure corresponding to the Unit Group CURRENCY. Price Basis - Price Base for the price. 14 SmartPlant Materials Materials Price Lists

17 Defining Catalog Data For an Extra Price Catalog, the following field is visible: Price Deviation - Deviation of the Price can be Fixed Amount or Percent Value. Defining Price Name Attributes Double-click the field Price Name to navigate to the Price Name Attributes block on AS Catalogs: Window 5. SmartPlant Materials Materials Price Lists 15

18 Defining Catalog Data Enter the following information: Order Seq - Order Sequence of the attributes. Attribute - Name of the attribute defined on the screen A Attributes. Physical Attribute - Name of the physical attribute column to which the attribute is to be mapped. Required - Select this option to display the selected attribute as a mandatory physical column on the price list screen. Price - Select this option if the selected attribute is to be treated as a Price. You cannot select it for more than one attribute; that is, only one attribute can be treated as the price for a Price Name. Assigning an Extra Price Catalog to a Catalog Section The Extra Price Catalogs to be assigned to a Catalog Section are entered on the page Extra Prices on AS Catalogs: Window 3. Note: This Page is not available for Extra Price Catalogs. You can assign any number of Extra Price Catalogs to a Catalog Section. 16 SmartPlant Materials Materials Price Lists

19 The following information is required: Name - Name of the Extra Price Catalog to be assigned. Defining Catalog Data You can select from a range of values available in the LOV on this field which shows all the highest and approved Extra Price Catalogs from AS Catalogs: Window 1. If you do not have Extra Price Catalogs already defined in the software, you can directly generate an Extra Price Catalog. This is covered in the subsequent sections. Short Desc - Short Description of the Extra Price Catalog to be assigned. Description - Long Description of the Extra Price Catalog to be assigned. Rev - Revision of the Extra Price Catalog to be assigned. Rev Date - Revision Date of the Extra Price Catalog to be assigned. To directly generate Extra Price Catalogs, click Generate Extra Prices. The following screen appears. In the section Extra Price Catalogs, enter the following information: Extra Price Catalog Name - Name of the Extra Price Catalog to be created. Short Desc - Short Description of the Extra Price Catalog. Description - Long Description of the Extra Price Catalog. The Extra Price Catalog Data section displays different combinations of the Tables, Groups, and Details which are selected by the Where Condition in the Catalog Layouts (AS Catalogs: Window 2). 20 Defining Catalog Data Note: If no tables are selected by the Where Condition, then Generate Extra Prices remains disabled. For this Extra Price Catalog being created, you can assign some of the various combinations of the Tables, Groups, and Details by selecting the Include option. When you click OK, the Extra Price Catalog ABC gets created with a default Catalog Section named Catalog_Section_1 and the combinations chosen are visible on the ITEM LAYOUTS page. Generating Catalog Items Catalog Items are generated by clicking Generate Catalog Items on AS Catalogs: Window 3, Tab Page Item Layouts. The generated Catalog Items are then displayed on AS Catalogs: Window 3, Tab Page Catalog Items. These Catalog Items that are generated automatically cannot be updated. However, logical deletion is allowed by using the Delete option. Manual Catalog Items can also be created here. The manual Catalog Items are differentiated from the system-generated ones by selecting Manual which is selected by default for manual Catalog Items. You can update/delete these manual Catalog Items. For manual Catalog Items, the LOV source for the input fields is taken from the default geometric assigned to the Catalog Section and the LOV for detail fields is taken from the Item Layouts. If the default geometric is not assigned for the Catalog Section, then the geometric from the Item Layouts (where the cursor is located) is considered to be the default geometric and is used as the LOV source for the input fields. If no geometric has been defined in Catalog Layout and Item Layout, then you can manually enter the input values. The various cases in generating Catalog Items are listed as follows: Case 1: If both Item Details and Item Geometrics are specified, then the Catalog Items are generated as follows: 1. First cross product of inputs in Item Geometrics is performed. If the range is specified for inputs and Single Price is not selected for an input range in Item Geometrics, then the input range is expanded against the corresponding Geometric Details to get distinct input values. If the range is specified for inputs and Single Price is selected for an input range in Item Geometrics, then it is considered as a single value. Cross combinations of inputs in Item Geometrics are performed only after expanding the input ranges. 18 SmartPlant Materials Materials Price Lists

21 Defining Catalog Data 2. Cross product of Table Details of different tables is then performed. 3. Cross Product of results of step 1 and step 2 is performed, which results in the required Catalog Items. Case 2: If only Item Details are specified in Item Layouts and Item Geometrics, and the default Geometric against Catalog Section is not specified, then the Catalog Items are generated based on cross product of Table Details only. Case 3: If only Item Details are specified in Item Layouts and Item Geometrics are not specified but the default Geometric against Catalog Section is specified, then the Catalog Items are generated as follows. 1. Geometric Details corresponding to the default geometric are considered as geometric combinations. 2. Cross product of Table Details of different tables is performed. 3. Cross Product of results of step 1 and step 2 is performed, which results in the required Catalog Items. Case 4: If only Item Geometrics are specified and Item Details are empty, then the Catalog Items are generated based on the cross product of the input columns of Item Geometrics. 1. If the range is specified for inputs and Single Price is not selected for an input range in Item Geometrics, then the input range is expanded against the corresponding Geometric Details to get distinct input values. 2. If the range is specified for inputs and Single Price is selected for an input range in Item Geometrics, then it is considered as a single value. 3. Cross combinations of inputs in Item Geometrics are performed only after expanding the input ranges. SmartPlant Materials Materials Price Lists 19

22 Defining Catalog Data Description of the fields: Pos - Position of the Catalog Item. Delete - Select this option to logically delete the automatically generated Catalog Items. Note: This option cannot be selected for manual Catalog Items Manual -This option is automatically selected for manual Catalog Items. 23 Handling Price Lists Handling Price Lists The Catalog is exported to the Suppliers in Microsoft Excel format. The Suppliers then enter the Price information in the exported Catalog Excel workbook. Once this is received from the Supplier, it is imported and Price List information is created / updated. Price Lists are project-independent; that is, the Price List may be created in the Product Group and can be used across projects to assign prices to the project-based idents. Price Lists are revision-driven with revision number and revision date. Defining / Maintaining Price List Data and Importing / Exporting of Microsoft Excel workbook for Price Lists is performed on the screen AS Price Lists. SmartPlant Materials Materials Price Lists 21

24 Handling Price Lists Creating a Price List A Price List is created on AS Price Lists with the following details: Supplier - You can select a Supplier to whom the Price List is to be exported from the LOV on this field, which shows the Suppliers from P Suppliers. Catalog Name - You can select the Catalog which is to be assigned to the Price List from the LOV on this field, which shows all the approved Normal Catalogs of all revisions. Price Agreement Issue Status - Issue status of the Price Agreement. The query specified in the Derived From field / valid values of the attribute specified for the project default ZX_PASTAT is the source for the LOV on this field. The following fields are available by default: Company Name - Name of the Company associated with the Supplier specified. Catalog Revision - Revision of the Catalog specified. Short Desc - Short Description of the Catalog specified. Description -Long Description of the Catalog specified. Once this Price List is exported to the Supplier, the Supplier will provide details like Price List Agreement #, Price List Date in the Worksheet SYSTEM of the Excel Workbook. Other mandatory Price information (fields in yellow) on other Worksheets is also specified. When this Price List file is imported, the fields specified in Excel are reflected on the screen AS Price Lists. In the section Price Lists the descriptions of fields are as follows: Sel - Select this option for the Price Lists to be exported. Price Agreement Number - Price List Agreement # specified in the Excel workbook. Rev - Revision of the Price List. Rev Date - Revision Date. This field is available only after the Price List is frozen, Rev Status - Revision Status of the Price List. Price List Date - Price List Date specified in the Excel workbook. Note: If the Price List Date is not specified in Excel, then this field shows the system date. Catalog Exp. Date - Date when the export is performed for the first time. Price Agr. Imp. Date - Date when the Price List is imported. Commands available in this screen are: 22 SmartPlant Materials Materials Price Lists

25 Handling Price Lists Freeze Revision - Freezes the selected Price List. Once frozen, the Price List and relevant Price List data (Price List Items and Extra Price List Items) are protected against any changes. New Revision - Creates a new revision of the selected highest frozen Price List Import - Invokes the import of Catalog with Price information from Supplier. Export - Invokes the export of the selected Price List. Exporting the Price List The Price List to be exported is selected by clicking the Sel option. Note: One or more Price Lists can be selected for exporting. When you click Export, the export of the selected Price List to the Supplier is started. Once the export process is complete, you can see the new exported Excel workbook in the path as defined in the DBA default PRICE_LIST_EXPORT_DEST. The name of the export file(s) can be determined from the online progress screen. You can see the log by clicking View Log. For each Price List, export creates an Excel workbook. For each Catalog Section of the Catalog used in the Price List, a specific worksheet within the Excel workbook is created. A specific worksheet is also created for Extra Prices for each Catalog Section. The software generates as many Price List columns in the Excel spreadsheet as the number of Price Names defined for the selected Catalog Section. SmartPlant Materials Materials Price Lists 23

26 Handling Price Lists The Excel workbook has three active worksheets: Worksheet SYSTEM - Stores system-related information. Worksheet PRICE_SECTION_# - Stores the Price information for a Catalog Section. The # represents a running number. Worksheet EXTRA_FOR_SECTION# - Stores the Extra Prices information for a Catalog Section. 24 SmartPlant Materials Materials Price Lists

29 Handling Price Lists Assumptions 1. The value of the DBA Default PRICE_LIST_EXPORT_DEST is set and is active. 2. The Export Template PRICE_LIST_TMPL.XLS should exist in the path as defined by the active value in the DBA default PRICE_LIST_EXPORT_DEST. 3. For each Supplier XYZ and catalog ABC having catalog revision 1, the exported Excel file will be named as PRICE_LIST_XYZ_ABC_<running no>.xls. SmartPlant Materials Materials Price Lists 27

30 Handling Price Lists Importing the Price List When you click Import, a dialog box appears. Note: Only one Price List (Microsoft Excel file) can be imported at a time. Before starting the import process, you should provide the following details: Import Path - The path where the Price List file being imported exists. This field can also be filled by clicking the button Default Dir which retrieves the path defined by the active value of the DBA default PRICE_LIST_IMPORT_DEST. File Name - Name of the Price List file being imported. You can browse through the different files in the path specified (Import path) and select one of them by clicking Upload. You can view the log by clicking View Log after the import process is complete. Price List import can be performed for both Frozen and Non-Frozen Price Lists. If import of Price List is performed for a Price List that is Frozen and its highest revision is also frozen: The import creates the highest revision of the Price List and proceeds. 28 SmartPlant Materials Materials Price Lists

31 Handling Price Lists Frozen and its highest revision is not frozen: The import overwrites data in the highest revision of the Price List and proceeds. Not Frozen: The import overwrites data in that revision of the Price List and proceeds. Every time you import the Price List, the Price Agr. Imp. Date will be modified with the system date. Assumptions 1. The file being imported should be a Microsoft Excel file which was exported earlier. Format of the exported file is not altered in any way. 2. The imported file should be an exported file updated with Price data. 3. The value of the DBA Default PRICE_LIST_IMPORT_DEST is set and active. 4. The file being imported should exist in the path as defined by the active value of the DBA default PRICE_LIST_IMPORT_DEST or in the path as defined by the user during import. 5. The Price Agreement number is entered in the SYSTEM worksheet before Import. Price List Items Double-clicking the field Price Agreement Number displays the AS Price Lists: Window 2. The following figure describes the major steps involved in assigning prices to project-based idents:. Create a Price Type Create a Company Price Type Assign Price to Ident Creating a Price Type A Price Type is created on the screen AS Price Types in the section Price Types with Price Display Type as With Catalog. The following is the description of the fields: Price Type - Name of the Price Type. Short Desc - Short Description of the Price Type. Description - Long Description of the Price Type. 35 Assigning Prices to Idents Creating a Company Price Type A Company Price Type is created on the screen AS Price Types in the section Company Price Types. The following is the description of the fields: Active - Select this box to assign project-specific prices to idents. Supplier Priority - Priority to be considered while assigning project-specific prices to idents. If Supplier Priority is 1, then it implies that it is of the highest priority. Company Name - Name of the company. Company - Code of the company. Currency - Currency. Price Agreement Number - You can use the LOV on this field to fill it. If the Company is already chosen, the LOV on this field displays all the Price Agreement Numbers associated with this Company. If the Company is not chosen, the LOV on this field displays all the approved Price Agreement Numbers and their corresponding Companies. Rev -Revision of the Price Agreement Number chosen. Rev Date - Revision Date of the Price Agreement Number chosen. Valid Start Date - Valid Start Date. Valid End Date - Valid End Date. Price Agreement Issue Status Price Agreement Issue Status associated with the Price Agreement Number chosen. K Factor % - Used while assigning prices to Idents. If a positive value is specified here, the price is increased by that percentage. If a negative value is specified here, the price is decreased by that percentage. Assigning a Price to Ident To assign Project Specific Prices to Idents, click the Assign Project Specific Price to Ident command. The various steps performed in assigning a price to ident are as follows: 1. The highest Supplier Priority Price Agreement is chosen. 2. Project-based Idents (Idents from both BOM and Specs) are fetched based on the following conditions: o If the Price List Item has the information of Geometric and Details, then Geometric of Price List Item should match the Geometric of Ident, and Details of Price List Item should match the Commodity Code Details of the Commodity Codes corresponding to the selected Idents. o If the Price List Item has the information of Geometric only, then all the Idents which have the same Geometric information as that of the Price List Item are selected. o If the Price List Item has the information of Detail only, then all the Commodity Codes of the project based Idents which have the same Detail information in Commodity Code Details as that of the Price List Item are selected. 3. Calculate the prices based on the key-factor% and assign these prices to the Idents retrieved. The following is the logic which is used to calculate the ident price: o The Ident is searched only in the Normal Catalog. o If the Ident is found in the normal Catalog, then the price against the Price List Item will be considered. o This Ident will then be searched in all the Extra Price Catalogs assigned to that Normal Catalog. If the Ident is found in one or more Extra Price Catalog Sections, then the deviation assigned to the Extra Price List Item will be considered and depending on the Price Deviation Type (Percent Value / Fixed Amount), the price for the Ident will be increased. 34 SmartPlant Materials Materials Price Lists

37 Assigning Prices to Idents For example: Ident is found in the normal Catalog with price 100. The same Ident is found in the three different Extra Price Catalog Sections with the following price deviations. Extra Price 1 à 10 with price deviation type = Percent Value Extra Price 2 à 20 with price deviation type = Percent Value Extra Price 3 à 30 with price deviation type = Fixed Amount The price for the Ident is = % (100) + 20%(100) + 30 => 160. For this price (say 160), the Key Factor assigned to the Price Agreement in AS is applied. The final price which is calculated in step 4 is assigned to the Ident. If the Ident is not found in any of the associated Extra Price Catalogs, then the Key Factor is applied only to the Price which is assigned in Step 2. Note: If Project-based Ident is not found in the selected Supplier Price Agreement, then the next highest Supplier Priority Price Agreement is considered for assigning the Prices to Project-based Idents. 38 Assigning Prices to Idents This screen shows in the section Prices, a list of Project-based Idents with relevant Prices assigned to them for the chosen Company Price Type on the top. This screen is also a Core Workflow Screen (CWS). Adding fields, removing fields, defining CIPS, and creating configurations are allowed on this screen for the section Prices. Double-clicking on any field in the section Prices displays the screen AS Price Lists: Window 1 querying the corresponding Price List Item. The following are the additional fields visible when the Price Display Type is With Catalog : Pos - Position of the Price List Item. Manual - Indicates that the Price List Item has been manually updated. Used in Proj. Spec - Indicates the Ident is used in the Project Spec on the screen S Used in BOM - Indicates the Ident is used in the BOM on the screen B Price Status - Status of the Price. The possible values for this field are as shown: : o The default value of this field is Null, which means that no price is assigned to the selected Ident. o No Price - Indicates that the price is not supplied by the Supplier. o New - Indicates that the price is supplied by the Supplier. o Changed - The Price Status is set to this value when one or more cases occur as follows: A price is re-assigned to the Ident by clicking either Assign Project Specific Price to Ident again or Re-Assign Prices to Queried Idents. The price is manually updated (indicated by a Cyan color background for the record). When you click Release the Price. o Hold - Indicates that the Price is on Hold. The following are the visible commands visible when the Price Display Type is With Catalog : Re-Assign Prices to Queried Idents - Performs the same function as that of Assign Project Specific Price to Ident on the screen AS Price Types, except that the Prices are assigned only to the Queried Idents. Hold (Release) Selected Price - Holds the selected Price; that is, the selected Price is protected against any updates. When the Price is on Hold, then the Price Status is updated with the value Hold. 39 Assigning Prices to Idents When the button Release Selected Price is clicked, the Price on hold is released and the Price Status changes to Changed. For the Prices which are not on hold, the prompt on this command shows Hold Selected Price. Check New Project Idents - Displays all the Idents which are created in the piping spec revision or in the BOM after Assign Project Specific Price to Ident on the screen AS Price Types is clicked in the section Prices. Clicking Re-Assign Prices to Queried Idents assigns Prices to the respective Idents if these idents are found in any of the Supplier Price Agreement. Description of the various options available in the section Context is as follows: All The section Prices displays all the Idents when Assign Project Specific Price to Ident is clicked on the screen AS Idents from Highest Spec Rev - The section Prices displays all the Idents which belong to the highest Spec Revision on the screen S Idents from BOM only - The section Prices displays all the Idents which belong to BOM only on the screen B / B Idents from Deleted Specs - The block Prices displays only those spec idents from AS Price Data which are deleted from the highest issued spec revisions on the screen S Query by Prices - The section Prices displays all the Idents regardless of the Price Type. Scrolling through the Ident price data in this block displays the corresponding Price Type, Price Agreement Number, and other relevant data in the top block. Drag and Drop - This option is a part of CWS. If this option is selected, the fields in the section Prices can be dragged and dropped anywhere in the section.
