1 I could not find any relevant documanet of RAC - Flashback on the net. So, I want to share my experiances with you. Check crs status. ora...t2.inst application ONLINE ONLINE rcnode2

2 Shutdown the database which was flashbacked. stop database -d RACTEST ora...t1.inst application OFFLINE OFFLINE ora...t2.inst application OFFLINE OFFLINE ora.ractest.db application OFFLINE OFFLINE

3 Connect one of the instances and then mount it. ORACLE_SID=RACTEST1 "/ as sysdba" SQL*Plus: Release Production on Fri Mar 18 10:52: Copyright (c) 1982, 2007, Oracle. All Rights Reserved. Connected to an idle instance. SQL> startup mount; ORACLE instance started. Total System Global Area bytes Fixed Size bytes Variable Size bytes Database Buffers bytes Redo Buffers bytes Database mounted. SQL> host

4 ora...t2.inst application OFFLINE OFFLINE Query the restore point name which was created before. SQL> select name from gv$restore_point; NAME

5 RP_ Flashback database to the guaranteed restore point. SQL> flashback database to restore point RP_ ; Flashback complete. After the flashback database operation open the database with "resetlogs" option. (I advice you to read document before resetlogs. ) SQL> alter database open resetlogs; Database altered. SQL> exit Disconnected from Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release bit Production With the Partitioning, Real Application Clusters, Oracle Label Security, OLAP, Data Mining, Oracle Database Vault and Real Application Testing options

SQL> drop restore point RP_ ; Restore point dropped.
