1 CENTAC HELP DOCUMENT FOR OTHER STATE CENTAC Homepage: Dear Candidate, Good day and wishes from CENTAC Team for your successful placements via centac. Along this journey I will be explaining you the process of centac application filling Primarily, please confirm that you have met the eligibility criteria as given in the application brochures both puducherry and other states as well you can refer the help document To view your respective help document, click Help menu and there you can see both puducherry and other states, choose state you belongs to. click here, to view help document To fill online application form sign up here Now, let us check the application filling process. Every candidate who wishes to apply for the courses, will have to sign-up before accessing the application form Check for the Sign Up button at the top of the menu in home page. By clicking you will be directed to the signup page which you see below Enter your name as registered with your HSC mark sheet and then enter your Date of Birth by choosing the DD/MM/YYYY boxes. Enter the contact details such as mail and mobile. Enter your

2 password which helps you to have a secure journey throughout the process and confirm it in the next box below by typing the same password Finally enter the same text given for the captcha by typing the letters given above with which you will be completing the required entries All the entry fields are mandatory which values are important to complete the sign up process Click here to complete your Signup Type Captcha here Once you had completed the sign up process, an will be sent to your registered mail ID which maintains Activation link, Credentials with candidate details such as candidate name, D.O.B and Mobile Number. Candidate requested to login through the activation link sent to their mail ID. The login from the centac portal works only after clicked the Activation link else your username and password will not work. So please do not skip this step during mail confirmation

3 Click the login button from the menu on top and you will be routed to a page as shown here Forgot Password If you lost your password retrieve it back by clicking on it

4 You can login using either your ID or mobile no, date of birth and password. If you had lost your password, you can retrieve it by clicking the forgot password option An will be sent to your registered mail with the password provided during registration. Now, you can login to your account with the credentials provided to you which will take you to the online entry first page as you see here

5 Parallel, after logging in you can get to this page by clicking the online entry menu from the top link Now, select your state as you belong. If you belong to puducherry residence-ship then select puducherry UT, else if you belong other states residence-ship, then select Other state. But remember which ever option is chosen you will be submitting the supporting document as per the inclusions mentioned in the brochure Now, you will have the further details displayed in regards to the community you belong to. Selecting the community will provide you with the details of the fees applicable for your application submission. After the selection of your community you can choose the course options you like to apply for and the total payment details is provided under for you to proceed with the payment facilities The payment for application is through online mode and you will not be able to proceed to the fill application without completing the payment process

6 So please note the steps carefully to proceed for the payment gateway. Now you will be initiating the payment process from the initial page by clicking the proceed button OTHER STATE (Other than Pondicherry UT) If you are belong to other state click Other State SELECT YOUR COMMUNITY Select your community from given options COURSE SELECTION Select the checkboxes next to the course name which you are going to apply for CLEAR To make changes in course click on clear PROCEED After selecting the course click on proceed

7 There will be a warning to check if you wish to proceed for the payment or quit the process temporarily. By clicking ok, you will be forwarded to the payment gateway page for payment processing As you see here in the screen you will have the options to pay via credit / debit cards, net banking, cash card, mobile payments and wallet. Maximum number of banks provided for you to choose from through which you can select the options and proceed with payment transaction Once you click the make payment button after the selection of the details, your transaction will be validated and you will be receiving the confirmation of successful or failed payment transaction details through your registered ID and mobile number as and SMS respectively

8 After the successful payment, you will be redirected to the application page for filling in the particulars of the application Now, start filling the Personal details HOME APPLYING FOR Your selected course will be displayed here Once completed Personal details click NEXT After completion of the personal details, you will be directed to fill the Qualification details

9 View Board Code To know your board code click View Board Code SUBMIT Once completed Qualification details click on Submit After completing Qualification detail click Submit to post your application online. You will have a warning to get your confirmation for posting the details entered by you as the final option, on clicking yes your application will be submitted to centac. Clicking cancel, will get you back to the page for reconfirming the values entered in the application for centac processing

10 After submission system will redirect you to view your application also possible to download for physical submission. The downloaded application will accompany the checklist form for submissions. You are asked to tick mark the submitted options in the checklist for the centac team to cross verify. There will be an and SMS intimation to you from centac, after receiving the submission alert of your online application

11 Download Click on Download and take a copy of your Application and its mandatory. Before taking print view Sample Print Format INSTRUCTION Follow the given instruction carefully The application posted online will be valid only after the centac admin receives the hard copy submission of the application with the supporting documents addressed to the centac office. The downloaded applications with supporting documents as per the checklist are expected to reach the centac office on or before the last date of submission announced by centac Meanwhile you can login to your account and check the status of your application. Once the application received by the centac admin is issued the centac number, the application status is set to processing and this status gets reflected in your account. Also, an SMS and will reach the registered address and mobile number with the detail of the centac number provided to you, which will be the reference number during your certificate verification process Please note that you should keep checking the status of your application in the portal regularly so that you will be noted for deficiency of the submitted support documents if any when the centac team checks for your submissions after receiving the physical copy by post. These deficient certificates should be brought along with your original certificates during the certificate verification process, else your application is considered invalid and you cannot participate in the counseling process You will be advised to reach your respective centers for certificate verification process via SMS and which will guide you with the venue, date and time. 12 on the centac portal which can be cross checked with the details received by you personally via mobile and APPLICATION To know application details click here Show Status Enter Application No, Course and Date of Birth and click show status to view your application details After the certificate verification completion approval by the centac team, you will become eligible to participate in the counseling process. Parallel to this you can check your status in your centac portal account and see if your application status says verified. This status will confirm you for the eligibility to get listed in the merit list which will be displayed by the centac committee on the centac portal Once the Merit list released by CENTAC, you could check your own Merit status by clicking on the Status menu and then click on the Merit sub menu As shown here in the screen, you will be getting the option to select the courses whichever you had applied in your application. If you had applied for Engineering and Biology, then you will get both the options for which your merit list status can be viewed and from there you can proceed for the counseling process respectively

13 MERIT Show Status Enter Application No, Course and click show status to view your merit details To know Merit details click here MERIT Merit Marks will be generated here. You will be getting your account page as shown here if you wish to view only your merit list. The complete merit details for all the courses can be viewed from the centac portal. You can take a print of this merit list which maintains details of category you fall in for the merit listing of the particular course

14 Generate Call Letter Click here to generate your Call Letter Download Download your call letter On click Download Call Letter button, the respective Candidate Call Letter will get download in new tab.
