3 Getting Started Before you can install HubShop.ly, you will need to download the Magento extension: If you are an experienced developer or Magento user, you may perfer to clone the repository into your application directly. To do so, visit the repository section. HubShop.ly is compatible with both Community and Enterprise Edition Magento 1 applications, up to versions (CE) and (EE). Although anyone can install this extension, we recommend that you contract the help of an experienced Magento developer. 1

4 Installation There are two ways to install HubShop.ly: 1. Standard installation 2. Modman installation For information about installing with Modman, see Appendix A. 2

5 Step 1: Extract Contents Begin by extracting all files to the root directory of your Magento application. This table describes which directories of your application will be affected. 3

6 Step 2: Flush Cache Once extracted, proceed to your admin panel. Then, from the main menu, select System > Cache Management. From this screen, click the button labeled Flush Magento Cache on the top right. If you are using Magento s compilation feature, you will also need to recompile the application. To do this, select System > Tools > Compilation from the main menu. Then, click Run Compilation Process at the top right. If successful, you must logout and back in again to your admin panel. Then from the main menu, select System > Configuration. If you see a section labeled HubShop.ly for Magento, you are ready for the next step. 4

7 Configuration Once you have successfully installed the extension, you are ready to configure your connection to HubSpot. The setup process is comprised of four simple steps: 1. Authorize HubShop.ly to connect 2. Authorize HubSpot to connect 3. Provide payment information 4. Confirm sync status Within 10 minutes, you can complete the setup process. To begin, navigate to System > Configuration in your Magento admin panel. Then from the left menu, select HubShop.ly for Magento > Configuration. Make sure you change your configuration scope to the desired store view. At the configuration screen, click the Start Setup button. If you are upgrading from an earlier version of HubShop.ly, you may not see this screen. If so, your store is already connected and you do not need to go any further. 5

8 Step 1: Authorize HubShop.ly to Connect From the main menu of your Magento admin panel, select System > Configuration. Then, from the left menu, select HubShop.ly for Magento > Configuration. 6

9 Step 1: Authorize HubShop.ly to Connect Next, you are ready to authorize the HubShop.ly service to communicate with your Magento store. Click the authorization button. 7

10 Step 1: Authorize HubShop.ly to Connect In the window that appears, you will be asked to confirm your authorization. Click the button labeled Authorize. Once complete, you will be returned to the Magento configuration area. 8

11 Step 2: Authorize HubSpot to Connect Next, you will be asked to provide your HubSpot Portal ID. Once provided, you must click the button to complete authorization and start the connection to your HubSpot account. 9

12 Step 3: Provide Payment Information At this step, you will enter your credit card information. This information will only be used to process your monthly HubShop.ly payment. If you have an offer code, enter that to receive any promotional pricing. When ready, click the button to complete your setup. 10

13 Step 4: Confirm Sync Status At this point, your HubShop.ly extension is connected to your HubSpot account. Your initial synchronization will begin shortly. At any time, you may return to this area to review your integration status. 11

14 Step 5: Reach Inbound Nirvana * It may take up to 24 hours for the initial data sync with your store to finish. We will you once it s completed. 12

16 Diagnostic Tools Alternatively, we have provided some self-help tools with this extension to ensure your Magento system is properly setup. From your admin panel, select System > Configuration. Then, select HubShop.ly for Magento > Configuration. In the Support section, click the Run Tests button. 14

18 Diagnostic Tools Each test will indicate a status and an optional message. There are four possible statuses, PASS, FAIL, WARN, and SKIP. If you are having an integration problem, consult this report for answers. Items marked as failing will prevent one or more features of the extensions from working properly. Items marked with a warning may indicate a problem. Visit our knowledge base for support articles which cover each of these statuses. Additionally, you can download the report details yourself or send them directly to our support team. When using the send option, your report will be ed to our support system and a ticket will be opened automatically for you, using the address configured in your store. 16

19 Appendix A This section describes the process for installing with Modman. This information assumes that you have experience with the Modman software, and that you are installing this extension on a Linux environment. Note: remember to enable symlinks when using Modman. Installation can be accomplished in the following steps: 1. Open a terminal session 2. Navigate to the root directory of your Magento application 3. Execute the following command: modman clone git@github.com:igotgroove/magentohubshoply.git 4. Clear your cache 5. Recompile your application (if needed) 6. Proceed to the Installation section 17
