1 Are you ready? Upgrades are coming to online and mobile banking and we want to ensure the process goes smoothly for you. This Quick Start Guide will provide you with step by step instructions on how to log into online and mobile for the first time after the conversion. Quick Start Guide How to sign in after the conversion Important things to remember Before conversion: Know your numbers. You will need two pieces of information to log-in after the conversion: your member account number AND the last 4 digits of the primary account holder s SSN. Schedule any bill payments and transfers you need before the system becomes unavailable on Monday, October 22. Existing bill payments, transfers and direct deposits you have scheduled will continue as planned. Although bill pay merchants and information will transfer over, you may want to make note of merchants and details as a back up. Alerts and account nicknames you may have set up will not automatically migrate. Please make note of your online banking details so you can easily add them back in after the conversion if you choose. After conversion: To sign in to online or mobile banking, you will need your member account number AND the last 4 digits of the primary account holder s SSN. You will be prompted to create a new password and username and update security contact information the first time you sign in after the upgrade. Download the new 1 st MidAmerica Mobile Banking app located in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Have questions? Visit us at Call us at Visit us at your nearest branch 3. Begin the re-enrollment process for either online or mobile banking outlined in the following pages. Please note that you are only required to re-enroll in one of these services but can access both using the same username and password. Questions?
2 How to sign in after the conversion Online Banking Below are the steps to follow to begin using online banking after the conversion. Note: You can re-enroll on any device (desktop, mobile or tablet) and use the same password when signing in to online or mobile banking. Start here - 1. Login screen Username: Account Number Password: Last 4 digits of the Primary Account Holder s Social Security Number 2. Terms and Conditions Users must accept the terms and conditions to continue Questions?

Create Username and Password Screen Username CANNOT be Account Number, Social Security Number, or contain white spaces Username requirements: Minimum 6 characters Must contain at least one letter Can include special Password CANNOT include part of the username or contain white spaces Password requirements: Minimum 6 characters Must contain 2 of the 3 categories: letters, numbers, special 4. Create Username and Password Screen - Completed Once username and password are completed, users must click SAVE at the bottom of the screen Questions?
4 5. Contact Information Screen/ Multifactor Authentication Click Add your phone number Add up to 2 phone numbers: primary and joint users; primary phone and work; home and cell, etc. Click Add your Add 1 address User must save added phone and address Questions?
5 6. Verify Contact Information/ One-time Passcode (OTP) Screen Users must choose where the OTP is sent (OTP is always a 6 digit number) Three options if user entered 2 phone numbers and 1. Text Me (text messages are sent from 44833) 2. Call Me 3. Me ( is sent from memberservice@1stmidamerica.org) Questions?

Verify Contact Information/One-time Passcode (OTP) Screen Users must type in the 6 digit OTP Choose to register their device (desktop, laptop, tablet, phone) as Private or Public Private means user will NOT be prompted to enter a OTP code at their next login Public means user WILL BE asked to enter a OTP code at their next login If no option is chosen by user, it defaults to Public device. Therefore, user will be prompted to enter an OTP code at their next login 8. Once users enter the OTP code and register device, users are directed to the online banking homepage.
