1 CMAT 21 Registration Instructions: This year CMAT is using a different, more powerful, payment system. To help you navigate the process of registering for CMAT we ve put together the following instructions. Keep them handy while you register. The instructions cover the following subjects, which are the steps you should follow (in this order) to register: 1. Registration with the CMAT website 2. Making Account for payment a. For non-students/staff (which, most likely, describes you) b. For children or other people that you ll pay for [dependents] 3. Payment with the new payment system a. Paying for dependent 4. Final Notes

1. Registration with CMAT Staff To start the registration process and get on the competitor roster, fill out the form at http://cmat.calwushu.com/?page_id=24 (the registration page on the CMAT site.

If you make a mistake, cmat.registration@ucmap.org and they can fix your entry manually. After submitting the form, copy down your competitor ID. It is a four digit number code that identifies the competitor that has just been registered. Their registration is not complete until you pay their registration fees. DO NOT CLOSE THIS WEBPAGE UNTIL YOU ARE SURE YOU HAVE PAID! It contains many important links.

One thing this system lets us do is have parents pay for their children while still keeping track of waivers. If you are registering a child or someone else, still make an account for yourself and then check out section 2b. 2a. Making an account for non-students/non-staff (probably you) Click here to be brought to the registration page. ( Notes: (1)Fields marked with a * are required. (2)Please check the box under the question 'Are you a UC Berkeley student, faculty or staff? Or a member of the Cal Rec Club?' This indicates that you are not a Berkeley student or staff member.

4 After you create your account, please click LOGIN. Please select "Community" under Campus Affiliation and click "Continue"

5 2b. Making an account for a child or other person you will register After you are logged in, click on the MyProfile button. Click on the My Family Button.

6 Next, click on the Add Dependent button to add a new dependent someone you will register on behalf of Add dependents until everyone you want to pay for appears when the my family tab is pressed.

3. Paying with the new Payment System The previous two steps come together here. Clicking the Click here to pay link on the CMAT Staff Registration page sends you to the payment system.

After you click on the link, a page on the UCB Recreational Sports Online Store will be opened for the corresponding number of events. If correct, click "add to cart" on the bottom of the page. In the example, I am adding 2 CMAT events. If you clicked the link before logging into the payment system, you ll be prompted to log in or make an account after trying to add an item to your cart. This is fine. Log in, or create an account using the steps in section 1, and when you re done click the CART in the upper right to get back to the next step of the walkthrough.

If you have not yet created dependents, there s another way to do so by clicking "Add New Child Participant. If you just want to register yourself, click self.

8 3b. Paying for your dependent (the child or other person for whom you registered) Here, a number of options present themselves. If you have created dependents (see section 2b) then you can select one to participate in the event. If you have not yet created dependents, there s another way to do so by clicking "Add New Child Participant. If you just want to register yourself, click self. In the example, I haven t filled out any dependents and need to add some. If you have added them already, pick the right one, click on continue and then pick up this walkthrough after the continue button is pressed. If you are adding dependents, then fill out the participant name. The next page will allow you to "Add Another Dependent" if you are paying for more than one participant.

9 If you are paying for only one participant, go to the next step. If you are paying for more than one participant, add additional participants under Add Another Dependent. After you are done adding the participant name(s), click on your CART. You ll be taken to a screen where you can pick the right dependent for the event. Select the right dependent (only ever pick one at a time) and click continue.

10 Hit continue again. Check the box then hit continue again.

11 Click on the link to fill in your competitor ID. Select the right dependent (or self) from the drop down box, fill the competitor ID into the text box and then click submit.

12 Click continue then proceed to checkout on the next two pages.

13 Finally, enter your credit card information and complete the purchase.

14 4. Final Notes When your purchase is completed, please print your receipt and a waiver, (cmat.ucmap.org/media/one%2orelease%2021st%20cmat% pdf ) and keep those until the day of the event.
