1 Voic Click here to access your Voic online. Voic from Arvig will enhance the way you communicate! Our Voic is an easy-to-use answering service that offers several advantages over answering machines. It allows incoming calls to be forwarded to your mailbox when your phone line is busy or unanswered. Optional features provide additional message and greeting capacity. Also, with our Expanded and Family packages, there is Voic to . Glossary of Terms Voic your local telephone answering service that enables you to play, send, answer and forward your messages from any touch-tone phone or computer. Mailbox: the place where your messages are stored. Mailbox Number: your ten-digit telephone number (including area code). Passcode: the security code used to access your telephone number. Temporary Passcode: four zeros (0000). Local Voic Access Number: Arvig local telephone number exchange plus Here are some of the Arvig local exchange numbers: 256, 285, 351, 398, 453, 548, 597, 764 and 987. If you are unsure of your access number, please contact Arvig. 1 P a g e
2 How to Access Your Voic All of your messages reside in your personal voice mailbox, which is protected by your passcode. While in the Voic menu, you may press * at any time to return to the previous options. From Your Own Telephone: Dial the Arvig local Voic access number _ Enter your passcode when prompted. Note: Your temporary passcode is four zeros, You will be prompted to change the passcode after initial login. From Another Telephone With Arvig Voic When asked for the passcode, press *. You will then be asked for the mailbox number. From Another Telephone With Arvig Voic Auto Login: Login, then press **. You will then be asked for the mailbox number. From Another Telephone Without Arvig Voic Auto Login: Record Your Greeting Press 1 for greeting options. Press 4 to record your greeting. When you are finished recording, press #. Change Your Password Press 2 to change your passcode. Enter your new passcode followed by the # key. The system will then ask you to re-enter your passcode followed by the # key. Check your as you normally would. When you receive a new Voic message, you will receive an from Arvig, delivered to your inbox. The message will have an attachment. Open the attachment and your media player will play the message. If desired, save the attachment on your PC. Follow the links in your message to save or delete the message from the Voic system. 2 P a g e
3 How to Access Your Family Voic While in the Voic menu, you may press * at any time to return to the previous options. From Your Own Telephone: Dial the Arvig local Voic access number _ Enter your passcode for this mailbox when prompted. Note: Your temporary passcode is four zeros, You will be prompted to change the passcode after your initial login. From Another Telephone With Arvig Voic When asked for the passcode, press *. You will then be asked for the mailbox number. From Another Telephone With Arvig Voic Auto Login: Login, then press **. You will then be asked for the mailbox number. From Another Telephone Without Arvig Voic Auto Login: Record Your Group (0) or Sub-Mailbox (1-9) Greeting Press 1 for greeting options. Press 2 to record your greeting. When you are finished recording, press #. Change Your Group (0) or Sub-Mailbox (1-9) Password Press 2 to change your passcode. Enter your new passcode followed by the # key. The system will then ask you to re-enter your passcode followed by the # key. Retrieve Messages From Your Sub-Mailbox (1-9) Your first new message may play immediately. If not, press 1. Press 1 to listen to new messages. Press 2 to listen to saved messages. Please refer to the instructions on page 2. 3 P a g e
