3 1. Installation Instructions Uploading the extension Upload via Composer 1. Log into the Magento server (or switch to) as a user who has permissions to write to the Magento file system. 2. Create a folder anywhere on your server (preferably not in the Magento install dir). When done, upload all the extension zip packages in there. 3. To use the folder created above as a packaging repository, add the run composer command: composer config repositories.mageworx artifact {/YOUR/ABSOLUTE/PATH/TO/EXTENSIONS/DIRECTORY} For example: composer config repositories.mageworx artifact /Users/mageworxuser/magento_extensions/mageworx/zip This command add to your composer.json file this lines: "mageworx": { "type": "artifact", "url": "/Users/mageworxuser/magento_extensions/mageworx/zip" } 4. Install the extension with Composer: composer require mageworx/module-optiontemplatesmeta

4 Upload by copying code 1. Log into the Magento server (or switch to) as a user, who has permissions to write to the Magento file system. 2. Download the "Ready to paste" package from your customer's area, unzip it and upload the 'app' folder to your Magento install dir. Enable the module 1. 5 That is it. Now you can start using the extension.

6 2. Accessing the Extension Main Settings To access the Advanced Product Options settings, go to Stores - Configuration - MageWorx - Option Templates You can hide all the product custom options templates in a click by selecting Yes.

7 3. Product Custom Options Templates To create a new product custom option template, go to Stores - Manage Option Templates and hit the Add New Option Template button. Fill in the name of the Template and enable or disable its display on the front-end.

8 3. Product Custom Options Templates Assign the new template to the products using one of the available methods: Product Grid, Product IDs or Product SKUs. On the next step you need to select the products to apply the template for. You can filter the products grid to find a certain one.

9 3. Product Custom Options Templates On the Options tab, hit the Add New Option button. Fill in the title of the option. You can enable the absolute cost, weight and price options. It means that the option cost, weight and price value will replace the original ones for a certain product. Select the input type according to your needs. It may be text field or area, file, drop-down, radio buttons, checkbox, multiple select, date, date & time or time. You can mark the option as Required. In this case customer will need to select one of the available variants to proceed with the purchase. Set option as One-time to add the option price to the product price only once.

10 3. Product Custom Options Templates Then, you should fill in the title for each of the variants. In addition, you can specify the fixed price of the option or set a percentage change to the overall price of an item. If the option costs nothing, leave the field empty. You can specify the cost and weight values for a custom option that will replace the original ones for a certain product. NOTE. The absolute price and weight options should be enabled. To create a new variant of the option hit the Add New Row button. Enter the SKU or leave the field empty to generate it automatically. You can manage Stock Availability of a certain option by activating the Manage Stock option and specifying the quantity.

11 3. Product Custom Options Templates Grid To manage your custom options templates, go to Stores - Manage Option Templates

12 4. Individual Product Custom Options With the extension you can create custom options for individual products. Go to Products - Catalog and select a certain product to create options for. Then, open the Custom Options section in the Advanced Settings menu. The process of custom options creating for individual product is similar to the custom options templates configuration. See the details above.

13 4. Individual Product Custom Options In addition, you can add the custom options from the templates or import them from the other products. Choose the option template to apply to this product. You can enable the absolute cost, weight and price options for an individual product. Hit the Import Options button to import custom options data from another product.
