5 Trash v. Junk Trash is your wastebasket. Move messages there when no longer useful. Junk = Spam Populated 2 ways: Your provider labels message as junk/spam. You label a message as junk. Can set up for automatic emptying of Junk Folder. Labeling a spam message as junk is preferable to merely deleting it. 5

6 Terms Archive v. Delete Archive is a background setting that moves discarded messages to a storage locker called Archive rather than to a trash can. Sometimes Archive is the default, especially with Gmail accounts You can turn off Archive. 6
