3 OVERVIEW With the help of Brainvire Easyconfigurable extension, you do not need to waste time in creating simple associated product individually and assign them to configurable product because with the help of this extension you can create simple associated product directly on the configurable product page in Admin Panel. The simple associated product can be created and their Inventory and other attributes can be managed on a single table view. It works with configurable product with any number of attributes. This extension will save your time and effort. 3

4 Features The admin can manage products and inventory within a single table inside configurable product. The admin can create simple associated product with any number of selected attributes. The simple associated products configuration can be managed easily by admin. It is compatible with configurable product having any number of attributes. 5 Installation Steps 1. Clear the store cache under var/cache and all cookies for your store domain. 2. Disable compilation for Magento Log into Magento Admin Panel and go to System Tools Compilation and disable the compilation. Be sure that the Compilation Сode is disabled (System->Tools -- >Compilation) 5

6 Installation Steps 3. Disable JS & CSS merging Navigate to System->Configuration- >Developer Tab and disable "Merge css / js". We suggest that you enable error reporting. 6

7 Installation Steps 4. Upload file manually If you use a different from default theme - be sure to rename app/design/adminhtml/default/default and skin/adminhtml/default/default folders to your store's values. Using your FTP client upload content to your store root. 7

10 Display in Admin (i) Extension User Guide Catalog Manage Products After enabled extension, go to catalog Manage Products-> Open any configurable product. Edit that product and go to Easy Configurable Products tab. 10

11 Display in Admin Extension User Guide Please follow the simple products quantity recommendations based on the module settings that can be found at System > Configuration > Brainvire > Easy Configurable products > Easy Configurable products, the 1st check box click allows to select all the attribute options at once. To generate new simple associated products you need to check all the required attributes options in the table and click Generate button. For newly created configurable products you need to click Save and Continue Edit button for the new tab to appear. 11

13 Display in Admin Extension User Guide Once you click Generate button you are able to specify Weight, Qty, Status, Visibility and Stock Availability options before the Products Generation. The script will automatically notify you about the duplicates being detected. It can delete them automatically or give you an opportunity to edit them manually. 13

15 Display in Admin Extension User Guide Red color means the product is not configured properly. So you need to edit the settings for that particular product and configure it properly. Then save the product for the changes to take effect. Yellow means the product has the changes. So you need to Save the product for the changes to take effect. No color means no changes. For each product configuration you can see the stock qty and you re able to edit or delete the simple product. The green ticks shows the options of each product. You will see the Products table after the simple products are generated. Do not forget to save the main product to create the simple products. To create new simple product for the configurable product click Create New button. Specify all the options of new simple product once the new column appears. 15

17 Uninstall To force Magento uninstall the module.
