6 6 Zelle Engine Configuration Engine Configuration Runtime properties Transaction Server Configuration Zelle Web Services configuration References Notices Trademarks Terms and conditions for product documentation Applicability Personal use Commercial use Rights OVERVIEW In IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) for ACH Services, the Real Time Payments (RTP) component is a framework for hosting the different implementations of real time payments support. The real time payments implementation for Zelle is hosted in this RTP framework. The implementation for Zelle consists of the following parts: an RTP Engine that is deployed into one or more Payment Feature Services WebSphere Application Servers a WebSphere browser based console component that provides an operator interface for defining Zelle runtime properties and Zelle transfer tokens a set of web services This document describes installing and deploying Real Time Payments with Zelle, and supplements the FTM documentation in IBM Knowledge Center for v3.0.4 and higher. The file system path references are examples for version For later versions, change the path references to match the version. Copyright IBM Corp Version of 33

7 Before continuing, ensure that any prerequisite tasks have been completed. For a description of the tasks required and the order in which they must be performed, see ACH Services Installation Overview in the FTM for ACH Services documentation in IBM Knowledge Center. Some example tasks: 1. Database has been created and the DDL scripts run. There are additional Zelle component DDLs to run that are in the database documentation. 2. Consider the Reference Zelle Data Setup Utility (DSU) workbooks. There are DSU property and workbook files in the install_directory\shared\v304\pfs\dsu\importexport\ cmd and xls directories. Installing FTM for ACH Services installs the modules associated with RTP and Zelle on the file system. After installation you need to: Create the IBM MQ messaging queues. Install and deploy the RTP and Zelle components in WebSphere Application Server. Install and register the Zelle tasks. Configure the Control Center for Zelle. Configure the Zelle Engine. 2 MESSAGING QUEUES Create the IBM MQ queues for use by the Real Time Payments with Zelle component. Refer to the Zelle section in the install_directory\ shared\v304\pfs\utilities\mq\win\mqqueues-createreference.txt file for more information. 3 WEBSPHERE INSTALLATION AND DEPLOYMENT Copyright IBM Corp Version of 33

8 3.1 WEBSPHERE RTP / ZELLE CONFIGURATION OVERVIEW Deployment can either be done using the Automated Deployment Utility (ADU) or manually configuring WebSphere. If using the ADU, refer to the automated deployment utility documentation in IBM Knowledge Center. Note: if using the ADU then after deployment you will need to perform the additional configuration documented in section 3.5.2Web Services. The Real Time Payments (RTP) is a framework for hosting different implementations of real time payments support. The real time payments Zelle implementation is hosted in RTP. Real Time Payments and Zelle should be deployed after Web Services in the deployment order. Deploy the RTP Engine before the RTP User Interface. To deploy the RTP Engine, perform the following steps: 1. Configure the Zelle Engine on the WebSphere Application Server where the RTP Engine is to be deployed. 2. Configure the RTP Engine. 3. Deploy the RTP Engine. Before the RTP User Interface is deployed you need to configure the Zelle modules that are deployed in the RTP User Interface. To deploy the RTP User Interface, perform the following steps: 1. Configure the Zelle User Interface on the WebSphere Application Server where the Control Center is to be deployed. 2. Configure the RTP User Interface on the WebSphere Application Server where the Control Center is to be deployed. 3. Deploy the RTP User Interface on the WebSphere Application Server where the Control Center is deployed. 4. Deploy the Zelle User Interface on the WebSphere Application Server where the Control Center is deployed. 3.2 RTP ENGINE STEP 1: WEBSPHERE ZELLE ENGINE CONFIGURATION This section contains the configuration for the Zelle Engine modules that are deployed in the Real Time Payments (RTP) Engine. 12 3.2.5 Zelle Engine WebSphere shared libraries Zelle Engine shared libraries A WebSphere shared library must be created for WebSphere to find the user exits loaded by the Zelle Engine. The shared library must be associated with the RTP_EJBEAR application by configuring the shared library reference of the application. Note: To avoid JAR file dependency problems, use a different WAS shared library path for each component. Property Value Description Scope Stand-alone Server Install: Node Cluster Install: Cluster Specifies the level at which the resource definition is visible. The resource should be configured at the server or node scope because the shared library references directories on the computer. For a stand-alone server install, the shared library is to be configured at the server scope. For example: Server=server1. For a cluster install, the shared library is to be configured at the node scope. For example: Node=izhNode. Name zel_engine The name of the shared library. Ensure that the Zelle Engine has been configured before performing the configurations in this section Enable the WebSphere Startup Beans Service for Real Time Payments WebSphere startup beans are session beans that run business logic through the invocation of start and stop methods when applications start and stop. The RTP Engine requires that the WebSphere Application Server (WAS) startup beans service be enabled. Ensure that each WAS Engine application server has the startup beans service enabled Time Zone Enablement Each WebSphere Application Server JVM must be configured to use Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) as the default time. This is done by setting a JVM custom property for each application server to UTC. Table 1. UTC Enablement Property Value Description user.timezone UTC Enables the default time zone for the JVM to be in UTC RTP Engine EAR File After installing RTP, an Enterprise Archive (EAR) file for the RTP engine can be found in install_directory\ach\v304\rtp\engine\application\lib with the name RTP_EJBEAR.ear. This EAR file can be installed into the application server using the default installation settings from WebSphere. 1. Navigate to the enterprise applications screen using the WebSphere Application Server Administration Console. 2. Click Install. Copyright IBM Corp Version of 33

14 3. Use install_directory\ ach\v304\rtp\engine\application\lib\rtp_ejbear.ear as the path to the new application. 4. Accept all defaults and click Finish. After installing the EAR file, set up the shared library references that are used for the RTP_EJBEAR implementations: 1. Navigate to the shared library references screen. 2. Associate the shared library previously created with the engine using the configuration path. This is done after the engine is installed. 3. Select zel_engine from the list. 3.4 RTP USER INTERFACE STEP 1: WEBSPHERE ZELLE USER INTERFACE CONFIGURATION This section contains the configuration for the Zelle User Interface modules that are deployed in the Real Time Payments (RTP) User Interface JAAS - J2C Authentication Zelle User Interface JAAS Alias Used for DB2 connectivity to the FTM database. You will need to provide an implementation of this user exit that is specific to your environment. The interface that needs to be implemented is com.ibm.fxh.zel.ui.ejb.frauddetection.service.userfrauddetectioninterface and you are recommended to extend the skeleton implementation com.ibm.fxh.zel.ui.ejb.frauddetection.service.userfrauddetection for future compatibility. This user exit required configuration in WebSphere Application Server where the RTP User Interface is deployed. The same Resource provider configuration required for the Funds Transfer User Exit is also used for this user exit. The only additional configuration you may need to provide are any customer properties or Fraud Detection User Exit requires. Note that the same set of configured custom properties are passed into both the Funds Transfer User Exit and this user exit. Refer to section 3.5.3Transfer Funds User Exit for configuring the resource provider and how to add custom properties. Copyright IBM Corp Version of 33
