2 Download VMware Horizon Client I. In your browser, type: launch.capitalpower.com II. Click Download VMware Horizon Client Software III. The system will detect the version of the VMware Horizon Client software to download based on your device. Click the Download icon: Sample Windows desktop* download screen: Sample ios (Apple) download screen: * For Windows desktops, you will be asked to choose between 32 bit and 64 bit option. Do you have 32 bit or 64 bit system? In Windows 7: Open the Start Menu > Type: System > Click on System under Control Panel. Note the System type in the window. In Windows 10: Right click the Start button > click System > Click System Information. Note the System type in the window. 2

5 Installation on Apple Desktops 1. When the Horizon VMware software app finishes downloading, double click.dmg file 2. VMware End User License Agreement comes up, read and click Agree 3. Drag the VMware Horizon Client icon into the Applications folder, close window 4. Open the applications folder, double click VMware Horizon icon, click Open 5. Click + 6. Find an Application 1. Search applications by category: Select Launcher, click the search box down arrow in the Select a category Applications in the category will appear on your Launch Homepage 9

2. Search Apps Field: Search for an application by typing the name of the application in the Search Apps field. The application will appear if you have been granted access to it.

Removing and adding Apps 1. If there are apps that you do not use, remove them: To remove an application from your Launch Homepage, right-click the application icon, select the trash bin. The app is moved into the Catalog. 2. To add an application to your Launch Homepage, select the Catalog tab, scroll to the app, (Apps are in alphabetical order) click Add+: 10

11 Create Your Launch Favorites Page 1. Tagging apps as favorites provides a convenient way to organize and access frequently used items. Select the Launcher tab, scroll to the app (listed in alphabetical order) right click on the app. Continue selecting your most frequently used apps as favorites. For example: right click Notepad 2. Click the grey star The yellow star indicates Notepad is marked as favorite : 11

12 3. Find your favorites: Select the Launcher tab, click the grey star in the search box The yellow star displays favorites 4. To remove an App from Favorites: Right click on the App, click the yellow star : The app does not display in your favorites list 12

13 Sign Out of Launch 1. On the top right corner of the Launch Homepage, click the down arrow by your name, select Sign Out Note: Your internet browser will remain open after you sign out of Launch. 13
