3 Introduction Dell offers non-catalog/non-punchout ordering as part of Dell s Premier B2B integration program. Non- Catalog/Non-PunchOut ordering is designed to allow customers to submit purchase orders based on a quote from Dell. Non-Catalog/Non-Punchout orders are also referenced as special requests, adhoc orders, or self requisition orders. Dell s B2B system supports two types of quotes for non-catalog/non-punchout purchase orders: DOMS quote Dell generated by a Dell sales representative EQuote Customer generated & saved on a customer specific Premier Page Quotes are turned into valid purchase orders by following the steps outlined in this document. Additionally, sample purchase orders and quotes are provided as reference documents for customers wanting to submit non-catalog/nonpunchout purchase orders to Dell via a B2B Integration. For additional information or specific mapping information, please contact your Dell B2B Integration Manager or ebusiness Solutions Manager. Non-Catalog/Non-PunchOut Ordering Non-Catalog/ Non-Punchout ordering allows a DOMS or EQuote to be converted into a valid, electronic purchase order without creating a cart (order requisition). Follow the steps below when submitting non-catalog/non-punchout orders. Create a Non-Catalog/ Non-PunchOut Order For complete purchase order samples, refer to Appendix 1 & 2. Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 Step 6 Request a Dell (DOMS) quote from a Dell Sales Representative or create an E-Quote on the Premier Page. The Dell Sales Representative will send the Dell (DOMS) quote via (see Appendix 3). If an E-Quote is created, an will be sent to the user with an E-Quote number included (see Appendix 4). Log into your procurement application. Create a quote-based PO (non-catalog/non-punchout) for Dell. Enter the following required fields: Supplier Part Number: Q:(DOMS QUOTE Number) or EQ:(E-Quote Number) Item Description: Description describing item Quantity: Quantity of the quote being ordered, not the number of systems or items to be ordered Price: Product Subtotal (before Tax and Shipping & Handling charges Submit purchase order electronically to Dell. EXAMPLE: Q: or EQ: EXAMPLE: Optiplex GX260T EXAMPLE: 1 If the request is for two systems and quote includes two systems, quantity entered should be one. EXAMPLE: $ IMPORTANT: Enter only one quote number per line item on the purchase order. DO NOT attach the quote to the order.
