3 Instructions for use Charging Give the WMA2 a full charge before its first use. 1. Connect the USB charging cable to the Micro USB charging port (8) and plug into power 2. The LED indicator (2) will be red whilst charging which will usually take up to 2 hours 3. Once fully charged the LED indicator (2) will turn off Note: Allow up to 3.5 hours for the first charge. Getting started To turn the WMA2 on, press and hold the MFB (1) for 3 seconds To turn the WMA2 off, press and hold the MFB (1) for 5 seconds The WMA2 will shut down automatically if no action in 10 minutes in receiver mode (RX) The WMA2 will not automatically turn off in transmitter mode (TX) RX and TX modes explained Receiver mode (RX) Transmitter mode (TX) Use this feature when your headphones or speaker does not have Bluetooth connectivity Use this feature when your music source does not have Bluetooth connectivity Note: Bluetooth is a trademark of Bluetooth SIG, Inc. This product is in no way affiliated with or endorsed by Bluetooth SIG Inc. RX mode Pairing the WMA2 to your device 1. Adjust the Mode switch (10) to RX 2. When powered off, press and hold the MFB (1) for 5 seconds to turn the WMA2 on 3. The WMA2 will automatically search for the last paired device, if not found after 10 seconds, the WMA2 will enter pairing mode, with the LED indicator (2) flashing blue and red 4. Turn your ios, Android, or Windows device s Bluetooth ON and search for new devices 4 [continued...] 5

4 [...continued] Pairing the WMA2 to your device 5. Select KS WMA2 from the list of found devices 6. If asked for a passcode, enter 0000, and the device will pair. Once connected, the LED indicator (2) will become solid blue 7. The WMA2 will slowly flash blue once your device is playing music or in a call Note: The WMA2 can store a maximum of 8 pairings. Once the maximum is exceeded the most recent pairing will be overwritten and so on. Note: The WMA2 will slowly flash blue to show it s switched to unconnected mode after 5 minutes, if no connection is made. Playing music through the WMA2 1. Once paired, simply plug one end of the 3.5 mm aux cable into the Aux-in/Aux-out port (7) and the other end into the aux-in port of your headphone or speaker Increase/Decrease volume Short press Volume+ (3)/Volume (4) Play/Pause Short press MFB (1) Next/Previous track Short press Next track (5)/Previous track (6) Note: Some devices may require you to select the audio output. Please note Your device will have an internal amplifier and if it is playing digital files like MP3s it will also have an integrated DAC (Digital Audio Converter). If you turn the volume up to 100%, your device will be sending a distorted signal. To avoid this, and to get the best quality from the speaker, we recommend that you do not run your device any higher than 95% volume. Some devices output higher than others, so you may need to reduce the volume if you experience distortion. 6 7

5 Call handling The WMA2 comes equipped with a microphone so you can take phone calls whilst in RX mode. Answer an incoming call Short press MFB (1) Reject an incoming call Long press MFB (1) for 3 seconds End a call Short press MFB (1) Redial the last caller Double press MFB (1) TX mode Pairing the WMA2 to your speaker/headphones 1. Adjust the Mode switch (10) to TX 2. When powered off, press and hold the MFB (1) for 5 seconds to turn the WMA2 on. The WMA2 will automatically enter pairing mode, with the LED indicator (2) flashing blue 3. Set your Bluetooth enabled headphones or speaker to pairing mode and place it next to the WMA2. It can connect over a 10 metre distance, but next to each other works best 4. Please allow 30 seconds for the two devices to pair. Once paired, the LED indicator (2) will flash blue every 10 seconds Note: When restarted, the WMA2 will automatically pair to the last device it connected to when turned on. Playing audio through the WMA2 1. Once paired, simply plug one end of the 3.5 mm aux cable into the Aux-in/Aux-out port (7) and the other end into the aux-out port of your media source Note: When transmitting an audio signal from your audio source (TV/vinyl player/computer) you need to ensure the volume is on full from your source and then set the volume on your headphones/speakers to a suitable level. The source needs to be transmitting a full signal to allow a cleaner transmission. You may receive audio interference if the volume on the audio source is low and the volume on your headphones/speakers is high. Note: Call handling, track controls and volume controls will not work in TX mode. Note: If the WMA2 is having difficulties connecting, please ensure no other wireless devices are on in a 10 metre radius. 8 [continued...] 9

6 [...continued] TX mode Re-pairing or pairing new devices 1. Turn wireless connectivity off on any previously paired devices 2. Follow the Pairing to the WMA2 instructions in RX / TX mode Note: If a previously paired device is not present within the wireless connectivity range then the WMA2 will enter into unconnected mode, double press the MFB (1) to enter into pairing mode. Connecting two WMA2 Adaptors together This will allow you to connect two products that don t support wireless connectivity to connect to each other wirelessly. For example, if you want to listen to your TV through your wired headphones, you can connect one WMA2 in TX mode into your aux-out port on your TV and plug your wired headphones into the other WMA2 in RX mode. 1. Turn the Mode switch (10) to TX on one adaptor 2. Turn the Mode switch (10) to RX on the other adaptor 3. Hold the MFB (1) for 5 seconds on both adaptors so they both enter pairing mode 4. The adaptor in TX mode will flash blue and the adaptor in RX mode will flash red and blue alternately 5. Place the two adaptors near each other (within 10 metres, but works best when next to each other) until they connect together (please allow up to 30 seconds) 6. Once paired, both adaptors will flash blue every 10 seconds 7. Place an aux cable into each Aux-in / Aux-out port (7) of each adaptor 8. Place the other end of the aux cable coming from the adaptor in TX mode into the aux-out port of your audio source 9. Place the other end of the aux cable coming from the adaptor in RX mode into the aux-in port of your speaker / headphones Note: If the WMA2 is having difficulties connecting, make sure no other wireless devices are on within 10 metre radius. Clearing your paired devices 1. When the WMA2 is turned off, hold the MFB (1) for 8 seconds and it will clear out all saved paired devices 2. The LED indicator (2) will flash pink and white 3. The WMA2 will return back to pairing mode with the LED indicator (2) flashing blue 4. Follow the Pairing the WMA2 instructions to pair with a new device 10 11

7 Care for your WMA2 Please DON T: Get the WMA2 in wet Drop the WMA2 as this will invalidate your warranty Open up the WMA2.
