2 SONNET Audio Processor SONNET The SONNET Audio Processor is the latest CI & ABI audio processor from MED-EL. SONNET delivers exceptional hearing in an easy-to-use and reliable design. SONNET features built-in water resistance, adaptive microphone technology, hands-free control, excellent battery life, and easy connectivity. SONNET is fully compatible with all multichannel MED-EL cochlear implants from the past 20+ years, so recipients can upgrade to SONNET with a simple fitting. And with the Micro Rechargeable Battery, SONNET is the lightest audio processor available. SONNET EAS SONNET is also available as an EAS Audio Processor. The SONNET EAS Audio Processor is our 3rd-generation audio processor with Electric Acoustic Stimulation (EAS) technology. EAS combines acoustic amplification and electrical CI stimulation, which enables recipients to take advantage of their residual natural hearing, for more natural hearing across a full spectrum of sound. The SONNET EAS Audio Processor has all the features of the SONNET Audio Processor, with an additional acoustic unit and earpiece for acoustic amplification. 4 Customise SONNET The SONNET Audio Processor has a modular design, so you can easily exchange parts or customise the look of your SONNET. All parts listed below can be used for the SONNET or SONNET EAS Audio Processor. Battery Pack Frame For use with 2 size 675 batteries. 5 SONNET DL-Coil The DL-Coil for SONNET has an integrated link-check function, so you can ensure SONNET is connected to the implant at a glance. The DL-Coil features an LED link-check indicator, a locking cable connection, durable coil cables, and adjustable coil magnets. DL-Coil Cover The replaceable DL-Coil covers are available in low/high profile and locking/non-locking styles. DL-Coil Cover Locking lock keeps the coil attached to the coil cable, and can only be unlocked by removing the cover. It can also run for up to 6 hours on a single rechargeable DaCapo PowerPack.
