If the unit gets wet please take to a local service center. Avoid high heat and overexposure to sun. If the unit smells smoky or produces smoke turn off immediately and take to service center. When not in use for a long period of time it is recommended to disconnect the USB cable. For long-lasting use, avoid playing at high volumes for extended periods of time. Clean with damp cloth only. Do not use any cleaning detergents. In case of any problems with the unit, disconnect from power source and disconnect USB cable immediately. 3 PANEL DESCRIPTION FRONT SIDE: 1. ON/OFF - MODE: Press for two seconds to turn the unit on and off. A short press will switch between the different play modes (FM, AUX, USB, SD Card). 2. CH+/NEXT/+10: When using USB or SD card, a short press will move to the previous song. A long press will move to the first song in your play list. When in FM radio mode, a short press will manually scan for an FM station. A long press will move to a previously stored FM station. 3. SCAN - PLAY/PAUSE: When using USB or SD card, press to play or pause. When in FM radio mode, press for 3 seconds to start auto scan of FM stations. Stations will be saved automatically. Press the pause/play button again to stop auto search. When in AUX or FM mode, a short press will mute / unmute the sound. 4. CH-/PREV/-10: When play mode is USB or SD card, a short press will return to the previous song. A long press will return to the first song in your play list. When play mode is FM radio, a short press will manually scan for an FM station. A long press will find a previously stored FM station. 5. VOL+: Press to increase the volume. 6. VOL-: Press to decrease the volume. 7. LED display

AUX Input Additional Instructions Playing FM radio: 1) Turn unit on by pressing the MODE button for 2 seconds. 2) Press SCAN button two seconds to start auto scan of FM stations. The hipbox will scan and store all available FM stations (up to 40 stations). Once stations are scanned, pressing SCAN button will mute the radio. 3) Press CH- and CH+ to move up/down between the stored stations. Playing music from your mp3 player, ipad, PC, smartphone: 1) Turn unit on by pressing the MODE button for two seconds. 2) Connect mp3 player or any other audio source to unit s audio jack with 3.5mm mini-to-mini cable (included). The LCD will display AUX. 3) Play music from your mp3 player as per its operating instructions. 4) To mute, press SCAN button. Press SCAN button again to unmute. 5) Control song choice, playing and pausing of song from the auxiliary device. Playing music from your USB card SD card or Micro SD card: 1) Turn unit on by pressing the MODE button for 2 seconds. 2) Insert USB or SD card into the slot. The unit will begin playing automatically. 3) To pause, press SCAN button once. Press button again to continue to play. 4) Press CH- / CH+ button to advance songs. Charging the hipbox: Connect the hipbox to a 5v USB charger using the USB cable (included with the package) or connect to a PC/laptop. When charging the battery, the battery display light will blink. Once the battery is fully charged, the display will cease to blink. Please note: when fully charged the hipbox can charge some mobile phones by connecting your phone to the USB slot.

However, in the event that something malfunctions, Pure Acoustics and your local authorized distributor warrant free of charge parts and labor (some exclusions may apply) for a period of one year. This warranty is only valid for the original owner. This warranty is limited to the repair of the product. This warranty will not apply to units that were subject to misuse, neglect, abuse, alteration or improper installation. This warranty will not cover damage due to fire, water, heat, lightning or any other cause beyond the control of Pure Acoustics. Retention of your original dated receipt is required in order to obtain warranty service from your local authorized Pure Acoustics Dealer.
