2 About Railpoint keeps passengers informed. Utilising real-time data, Railpoint provides passengers with on-demand access to live departure boards, onward travel connections, delays and planned engineering works, maps and station-specific information. Railpoint terminals have been developed in three robust variations, suitable for installation in high traffic areas such as concourses, ticket halls and station platforms. Large, touch screen LCD displays and an intuitive interface, fully customisable to your own brand, provide an accessible and user-friendly experience. Live data is provided by National Rail Enquiries, Transport for London, Google Maps and other providers of local public transport data.

3 Features Journey planner A real-time A to B journey planner, fed from National Rail Enquiries (NRE), with customisable outward journey times. Includes platform numbers, interchange notes, multimodal travel possibilities and comprehensive service details. Live Departure Boards Full or summarised live departure and arrival boards, including real-time calling patterns for every service. Advanced options include buffering (for departures too far away from the terminal) and countdown displays. Onward Travel Info Anything from static onward travel posters to live and interactive local travel feeds. Paired with interactive maps, users can navigate around the local area and decide which travel option best suits their needs. Timetables Compiled from the National Train Plan with fully searchable contextual timetable data. This can supplant the need for cumbersome A-Z timetable posters and free up valuable poster space in your stations. Engineering work A list of planned improvement works across any TOC s network, displayed in an easy-to-use calendar view. Fed from NRE and fully-editable from the content management system. Disruptions A live list of disruptions currently affecting journeys across your network, fed from NRE and fullyeditable from the Content Management System. Larger stations can include disruptions from other relevant TOCs.

4 Features Station info Full control over the NRE feed for station information with editable fields. Provides customers with advance access to important information such as accessibility arrangements and car parking tariffs. Maps Large format interactive maps including TOC network, local area and even internal station maps. These are gesture-driven, much like a smartphone interface, to ensure a familiar user experience. Content Management A central control panel for TOCs to override screens with ad hoc content, edit disruptions/ improvement works, gain valuable analytics information concerning screen usage and more. Posters / overrides The CMS allows staff to override screens with important messaging during disruptions, closures or station works. A quick and effective way of messaging without the delay and expense of printing traditional posters. Rainbow boards A familiar service status board fed from TfL or any other live data source. Advertising Screens can have designated areas for internal or retail advertising in screensaver or banner formats, all controlled through the CMS.

5 Content management system Railpoint is supported by a powerful CMS and bespoke on-site training service, giving you complete control over screen content. An easy to use, central dashboard allows TOC staff to override screens with ad hoc content, edit disruptions/ improvement works, and gain valuable analytics information concerning screen usage and more. Posters and overrides Railpoint s Content Management System allows staff to override screens with important messaging during times of disruption to normal service, providing a quick and effective alternative to the delay and expense of traditional printing. Posters can be created from a catalogue of templates or uploaded using the simple media manager tool. Disruptions There may be times when nationally publicised disruption information is out of date or not specific enough to your locale. During these times you can add your own bespoke disruptions (planned or unplanned) and disable those coming in from NRE. Station Information Car park tariffs often change throughout the year and this isn t always communicated to NRE when it should be. The interim solution is to change this information yourself in the CMS. Advertising Insert designated areas for internal or retail advertising in screensaver or banner formats. Mini live departure boards A customisable list of popular destinations with advanced buffering control. Analytics An integrated analytics package for screens, stations and your entire network provide valuable insight into customer usage and experience. The CMS allows you to generate usage reports from a window ranging in size from an hour to a year. User management Assign permissions to particular users, limiting or extending functionality as required. Support The CMS is also home to a dedicated support section which is where you can report technical faults or even feature suggestions/improvements.
