1 Zane State College offers free computer software and software tools to help students achieve success. Below are instructions to install the many software applications offered at Zane State College. How do I access the wireless network using a laptop? Click on your Wi-Fi icon located in the task bar lower right corner on Microsoft Windows and upper right corner on Apple MAC. From the list of wireless networks, click ZSC-Wireless. The wireless network will connect without the need for a username and password. Please make sure your laptop is not in Airplane mode. How do I install my free Microsoft Office 2016 Applications on a Microsoft Windows computer? 1. Please remove all old versions of Microsoft Office from the computer a. Right click the Windows Start button b. Click Control Panel from the quick launch menu c. Click the Uninstall a program link under the Programs section d. Allow the list of application programs to build and click the Microsoft Office 20xx option from the list e. Click the Uninstall button located just above the application programs list f. Follow the prompts to uninstall your old Microsoft Office. Please note you will need to close any open Microsoft Office applications before uninstalling the software 2. Open an Internet browser and type in this address: Office.com/GetOffice On the Microsoft webpage, click into the Enter your school address text box. Then type in your Zane State College address 4. Click the Get Started button 5. Click the I m a student link 6. Click the Sign in link 7. You will transfer to a Zane State College login page. In the Username text box type in your Zane State College address 8. In the Password text box type in your Zane State College password 9. Click the Sign in button 10. If you are already signed up, you will click the OK, got it link 11. At the Microsoft Office 365 webpage, in the upper right corner click the Install Office 2016 button 12. Follow the on screen steps provided by Microsoft to complete your Office 2016 installation. Please note the install process will have you download the Microsoft Office 2016 application, so please use a Wi-Fi wireless Internet connection if possible.

2 How do I install the My Apps - Citrix applications on computers? 1. Please open an Microsoft Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox browser to the address 2. Locate the Quick Links section on the left side of the My Z-Online webpage and click the My Apps link 3. Install the Citrix Receiver application if needed for computers and laptops a. Click the I agree with the Citrix license agreement check box b. Click the Install button c. An Opening CitrixReceiverWeb.exe window will appear requesting you save the file, click the Save File button d. Click the view downloads button on your Internet browser. e. Click on the CitrixReceiverWeb.exe download to install the application f. At the Welcome to Citrix Receiver window, click the Start button g. Click the I accept the license agreement check box and then click the Install button h. When the install is finished click the Finish button and reboot your computer (the software will not ask you to, however it is highly advised you do so to ensure your software works as intended) i. Please start with steps 1 and 2 again and navigate to the My Apps webpage, then proceed to step Login to the My Apps website using your Zane State College provided username and password 5. To use one of the many applications within the My Apps website, click on the application icon you wish to use. 6. Please note, each My Apps application you launch will take around 1 minute before completely loading.

3 Installing WebEx for Mozilla Firefox 1. Once you have clicked on a WebEx link your Mozilla Firefox browser will open and you will be asked to install the WebEx application plug-in 2. Click the Add WebEx to Firefox button 3. If needed allow zanestate.webex.com to install the WebEx application plug-in, by clicking the Allow button 4. Then Click the Add button to add the Cisco WebEx Extension to the browser 5. Your WebEx meeting software will now launch

4 Installing WebEx for Google Chrome 1. Once you have clicked on a WebEx link your Google Chrome browser will open and you will be asked to install the WebEx application plug-in 2. Click the Add WebEx to Chrome button 3. At the Add Cisco WebEx Extension window, click the Add extension button 4. Your WebEx meeting software will now launch Installing WebEx for Microsoft Internet Explorer 1. Once you have clicked on a WebEx link your Microsoft Internet Explorer browser will open and you will be asked to install the WebEx application plug-in 2. Click the Install button located at the bottom of the Internet Explorer browser 3. If you receive one or more Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer? windows, click the Yes button. Several times if needed. 4. Your WebEx meeting software will now launch

5 How do I install the Microsoft OneDrive for Business software on my Microsoft computer? 1. Select the Start button, type in the word OneDrive to search for it; then click on the icon a. In Windows 10, select the OneDrive desktop app. b. In Windows 7, under Programs, select Microsoft OneDrive. c. In Windows 8.1, search for OneDrive for Business, and then select the OneDrive for Business app. 2. When OneDrive Setup starts, enter your Zane State College address, and then click Sign in to set up your account. 3. At the authentication window, type in your Zane State College password and click the Sign in button again. Your Microsoft cloud OneDrive files will start to download.
