7 Schedule a Conference Schedule in web conference or voice conference in calendar: Select the type of conference to schedule: imeeting elearning Webinar Note: Each type has specific default features

11 Conference Settings - imeeting Allows multiple participants to take a pro-active role in the conference. All participants typically have similar conference rights and privileges. An imeeting has one host, one presenter, and can have multiple co-hosts.

12 elearning Settings Moderated conference in which a teacher-student relationship exists between the presenter and participants. In elearning conferences, participants can view the Participants list.

13 Webinar Settings for Large Audiences A moderated conference in which the Participants list is hidden and sending notes among participants is usually prohibited.

16 Conference Entry Process

17 Selecting AT&T Connect Software When joining a conference, participants choose the type of software they will use to connect to the event The Participant Application is required for Presenters Web Participant Application

18 Joining the Audio When entering the event, participants have the option of choosing how they will connect their audio Dial in to the audio bridge VOC - Use a headset with a microphone (best practice)

19 Call Me vs. Dial-In Dial the number and enter the access code Global numbers may be included Dial #XXXXX# to link your telephone to your computer Note: Audio button on the tool bar reinstates audio instructions

21 The Tool Bar Send Note (Public or private) Whiteboard - Expand to full screen Adjust size when in App Share Raise Hand (Emoticons) Step Out - Signals that you are temporarily unavailable Mute - Individual On and Off Annotation Toolkit - Tools for drawing. When allowed by the presenter = can be disabled during conference

22 Conference Menu Options Invite Others by (Phone may be optional) Continue Without Host allows the event to continue without the Host present Host gives Presenting rights to another participant before exiting the conference Lock Event adds additional security Conference Settings may be disabled Edit Event for re-naming conference Save notes sent and received

23 Changing the Conference Settings Enabled by default Depends on conference type Change during conference by Host and current Presenter Note: Some settings may not be configurable due to company policy

24 The Participant Icons Presenters are first in the Participant list

25 Managing All Participants Host and Presenter: Send message to all Mute and unmute all audio lines (participants can un-mute) Start a one-way broadcast (participants cannot un-mute) Invite others to join the event in progress by Clear raised hands, emoticons, and poll results Sort Participants (A-Z) Note: Items will differ according to the type of conference

26 Managing Individual Participants Options may vary: Send a Private Note Give Presenting Rights or Change Role to Co-Host Mute a line Rename an audio only participant Link a Users Phone with their Computer Dial out (if applicable) Expel a participant from the event Note: Actions depend on account configuration

28 Sharing Desktop/Applications Desktop: Shares all active windows (pop-ups, IM, etc display) View the presenter s real-time interaction with a live application 1. Double click on application 2. Hold CTRL or Shift key to select more than one application to share (toggle) Tip: Open applications before start of conference

29 Managing Conference from the Dashboard Application opens in full screen for Presenter Presenter: Depending on conference settings - View raised hands/ read notes/start a conversation or give Remote Control to another Participants view application on whiteboard

31 Inserting Conference Materials Types of files supported (view only).pdf.doc.ppt/pptx picture files Files do not need to be currently open on Presenter s computer 1.Click on Insert 2.Navigate to the file 3.Double click to open Limit size to 10 MB Note: If informed of illegal characters in file name i.e. *&^(%#! Follow pop-up instructions to temporarily re-name file

32 Displaying Materials on the Whiteboard 1. Expand the folder to view all slides/pages in file 2. Current Presenter: Click on slide name or 3. Use navigation arrows Note:.ppt notes display for owner of material only.ppt notes Navigate to previous or next item

33 Conducting a Web Tour 1. Select Web tab 2. Type an address (URL) in the field 3. Click Go 4. Page displays in whiteboard 5. Allow annotating 6. Follow links when clicked (individual surfing) Note: Presenter s clicks synchronize all pages Note: To view restricted or intranet sites, use application share

34 Conducting a Poll The Polls tab allows the Presenter to launch three types of polls 1. Yes/No 2. OK 3. Written questions Attendee responds to a verbal question from Presenter Page 34
