1 SGW Functional Tester Release Notes - Page 1 of 10 - Introduction The SGW Functional Tester is an automated test suite for testing the correctness of an implementation of LTE Serving Gateway (SGW) according to 3GPP TS (GTPv2C), TS (GTPv1U), TS and other relevant Release 9 standards. There are total 268 test cases with E-UTRAN Attach, Detach, UE and Network Requested Bearer modification, TAU, HO(S1/X2/S4), UE requested multiple PDN connectivity and Path management procedures. Version Beta Release Date: August 01, SGW Functional Tester : Test Executive : SGW Functional Tester Test Procedures : Release 10 compliance new test cases related to Emergency Session, Location Change Reporting and Error Indication TC : In Delete Bearer Response from MME to DUT, EPS Bearer Id should be set to TC : In response to Create Bearer Request with non zero EPS Bearer Id from PGW, FT should expect Create Bearer Response with cause "Mandatory IE Incorrect" from DUT SGW TC : On not receiving Create Bearer Response from MME, FT should expect Create Bearer Response with cause 'Remote peer not responding' TC : On receiving Create Session Request in connected state with zero FTEID in header for same APN & EBI, FT should expect successful Create Session Response. TSS&TP and test script is modified TC : In response to Delete Bearer Request with non existing valid EPS Bearer Id from PGW, Tester should expect Delete Bearer Response with Cause "context not found" to PGW TC : TSS&TP needs to be modified to remove the step MME should send Release Access Bearer Request to SGW before RAU procedure. - Page 1 of 10 -

2 SGW Functional Tester Release Notes - Page 2 of 10 - Version Beta Release Date: March 26, SGW Functional Tester : Test Executive : SGW Functional Tester Test Procedures : Support of separate ip for control and data plane in SGW FT. 7345, 7346 TC , , , , : FT always expects periodic Echo Request from peer node which is actually optional TC : FT sends two identical Bearer Context IEs in Create Session Request to DUT. FT should not expect the request to be rejected. - Page 2 of 10 -

3 SGW Functional Tester Release Notes - Page 3 of 10 - Version Beta Release Date: May 8, SGW Functional Tester : Test Executive : SGW Functional Tester Test Procedures : Bug Fixes. There are total 250 test cases with E-UTRAN Attach, Detach, UE and Network Requested Bearer 6408 Setup file specified using -setup/-s parameter was not being used in CLI mode; instead Setup file name stored in Windows Registry was being used. - Page 3 of 10 -
