This catalog provides product information and pricing for our complete line of Battery Enclosures and Racks designed specifically for the PV industry to hold different sized batteries from all of the major manufacturers. The Battery Racks can be anchored to a floor or foundation using holes provided in the feet. Most of the Enclosures have the added versatility of pole mounting capability. IronRidge engineers and manufactures all of its Battery Enclosures and Racks with the use of destructive and non-destructive testing where applicable. Price and specifications are subject to change without notice. However, IronRidge strives to maintain open communication with all of our customers and partners. Battery Sizing IronRidge Battery Enclosures and Racks are designed to hold batteries of different sizes included in the table below. Please note that specifications are approximate and for reference only. The groups in this table include the physical dimensions, weights, and Amp-hr capacity. Most battery manufacturers assign their own part number to existing sizes within these groups. The sizing chart below helps identify which batteries will fit into our Battery Enclosures and Battery Racks by reading the product descriptions in this document. 3 Single Battery Enclosures LCF-01A Our LCF Series Enclosure offers an efficient and economical solution for installations requiring 1 Group 27/31 or smaller battery. These models can also be bolted to a flat wall or mounted on a 2 6 pole using the optional pole mounting kit. Other standard features include: removable control panel, full length piano hinges on the door, stainless steel pad-lockable compression latch, all aluminum construction, white powder coat finish, passive ventilation and meets NEMA 3R requirements. Econobox The Econobox is our most value oriented offering. This enclosure will hold a single battery up to Group 27 in size. Standard features include: easy slide-off front cover, all aluminum construction, white powder coat finish, and stainless steel hardware for the front cover. Additional options include pole mounting for 2 6 poles. When used in conjunction with IronRidge single arm mounts, the Econobox can be part of a very economical stand-alone system, as pictured below. 4 Double Battery Enclosures LCF-02A Our LCF-02A is the two battery version of the LCF-01A. It offers an efficient and economical solution for installations requiring 2 Group 27 (and 31) or smaller batteries. These models can also be bolted to a flat wall or mounted on a 2 6 pole using the optional pole mounting kit. Other standard features include: removable control panel, full length piano hinges on the door, stainless steel pad-lockable compression latch, all aluminum construction, white powder coat finish, passive ventilation and meets NEMA 3R requirements. 5 Four Battery Enclosures These units have a Minimum Order Quantity of 10 enclosures, and are built to order, with an approximate 6-7 week lead time. OES-431 The OES-431 is designed to hold 4 Group 27/31 batteries, and can also be bolted to a flat wall or mounted on a 2 6 pole using the optional pole mounting kit. Other features include: Removable control panel for pre-assembly of electrical components, stainless steel pad lockable compression latch, removable door, passive venting, all aluminum construction, white powder coat finish and conforms to NEMA 3R rating BE04A The 1624BE-04A is designed for maximum versatility and security. Configured to hold 4 Group 27/31 batteries, these durable models can be bolted to a flat wall or mounted on a 2 6 pole using the optional pole mounting kit. The 1624BE04A feature round tumbler style latches, adding to the overall security of the unit. Other features include: removable control panels for pre-assembly of electrical components, removable doors and Battery trays, passive venting, all aluminum construction, white powder coat finish and conforms to NEMA 3R rating. 6 8D Battery Enclosures These units have a Minimum Order Quantity of 10 enclosures, and are built to order, with an approximate 6-7 week lead time. BEE Enclosures Our BEE Series Battery Enclosures provide NEMA 3R equivalent storage for larger batteries. These enclosures are designed to be shelf or floor mounted, and do not work in conjunction with pole mount kits. Standard features include: Electrical knockouts provided in convenient locations, stainless lid mounting hardware, and passive ventilation provisions. The BEE Series represents our most economical large battery storage enclosure and can be also used to house electrical components. 7 Battery Racks These units have a Minimum Order Quantity of 10 battery racks, and are built to order, with an approximate 6-7 week lead time. Knock Down Battery (KDR) Racks Our Knock Down Battery Racks ship unassembled to reduce shipping costs, and can be sent via UPS. For added stability and safety, holes are included on the bottom of the feet for the option of bolting down to the floor or a concrete pad. Optional covers are available for completely covering either KDR rack. BR88D-BP Covered Rack The BR88D-BP comes pre-assembled. Conduit holes are provided at both ends of the shelves. Constructed of steel and powder coated, these Battery Racks offer the versatility of mounting various battery sizes, but can also accommodate a variety of electrical components such as inverters and charge controllers.
