The Test equipment shalll be delivered to the Employer in new/ fresh condition. 2. Supplier shall provide valid calibration certificate, test certificate & warranty certificate for the quoted test equipments (As applicable), in the event of order. 3. Supplier should have adequate "after sales service facility" in India. In order to address issue of warranty / after sales services, single supplier supplying all testt equipments will be preferred. 4. Bidder should provide authorized distributor certificate from Manufacturer/OEM of the offered test equipment. 5. The instrument is intended for use in high-voltage substation (up to 800kV) and industrial environment. The testing equipments are generally meant for carrying out testing at site and movement from one place to another is unavoidable. Therefore equipment shall be robust in design so that it gives desired performance even in adversee site conditions. Necessary transport packing arrangement shall be provided along with the equipment.

Despite its exceptionally favorable price, the youngest member of our Karl Fischer instrument range leaves no wish unfulfilled. The 831 KF Coulometer guarantees precise and accurate results even in the low microgram region. Its additional assets are compact construction, flexibility and easy operation. The table shows the precision that can be reached with the 831 KF Coulometer. The results were obtained using Karl Fischer standards of varying concentration. Water content Precision µg ±3 µg >1000 µg 0.3% or better LCD screen of 831 KF Coulometer with curve m(h 2 O) in microgram versus the time in seconds. Graphics display with real-time curve On the 831 KF Coulometer s backlit LCD screen the user can follow graphically the course of the Karl Fischer water determination (µg water as a function of time). The 831 KF Coulometer in routine operation Often it is felt that an instrument offering extensive capabilities cannot be easy to operate. The 831 KF Coulometer solves this problem by placing at your disposal an expert and a standard mode. In the standard mode only those functions are accessible that are needed in routine work. Operation in this mode requires very few keystrokes and is extremely easy. Communication and automation The 831 KF Coulometer is equipped with two RS 232C interfaces that allow the attachment of a balance, printer and PC. With the 831 KF Coulometer you get, at no extra cost, the Metrodata software VESUV 3.0 Light, an easy-tooperate program for the acquisition and reprocessing of data. The measuring values and results supplied by the 831 KF Coulometer are transferred into a database and presented in a clearly arranged form with the corresponding curve «m(h 2 O) vs. time» and the report. Quality management with Metrohm The 831 KF Coulometer allows the complete and clear documentation of all the determinations performed. The result output complies with GLP and includes designation and serial number of the instrument, software version, date, user name and method used. GLP and ISO 9000 functions such as service or validation intervals alert the user in time for the necessary tests. The KF reagent can be monitored with regard to the number of determinations carried out, its useful life span, drift value or capacity. Whenever the reagent has to be exchanged, the corresponding request is issued automatically. To avoid mishaps of any kind there is the additional possibility of setting limits for the sample weight or volume and for the result. If one of these quantities lies outside the set limits, the corresponding warning message appears in the display and report and the «Remote» interface emits a signal. The 831 KF Coulometer puts at your disposal a special GLP mode that facilitates the periodic testing of the instrument: Simply call up this mode and carry out the validation according to Metrohm Application Bulletin no PC screen with VESUV database. Thermal sample preparation Use of a KF Oven is recommended for samples that cannot be introduced directly into the KF cell. Metrohm offers two different ovens. The 768 KF Oven can be used if few samples have to be processed. However, if large numbers of samples need to be analyzed, the 774 Oven Sample Processor is the ideal solution. When combined with the 831 KF Coulometer, this sophisticated sample changer allows fully automated water determinations in up to 35 samples. The analysis system can be operated as a stand-alone unit or controlled completely by the Metrodata software TiNet KF Coulometer with 774 Oven Sample Processor: fully automated, fast and highly precise KF water determinations right down to the trace level. Moulded test vessels give repeatable results with lock in precision electrode gap setting adjustment wheels. The transparent, shielded lid and large test chamber enable easy access to the test vessel. All three laboratory models are fitted with a 12 key alphanumeric keypad to facilitate entry of test ID, filenames, notes etc. Alpha characters are entered by repetitive pressing on a key, the same way as text is entered modern cellular telephones. Test standards are preloaded in the instrument and new versions can be uploaded via USB flash drive. All laboratory models support the creation of user defined custom tests. Test results are identified either by a serial number or asset ID and are time and date stamped. Megger s asset and data management software, PowerDB Lite, is bundled at no extra cost providing an excellent tool for downloading and printing results. An optional internal printer provides a hard copy of results. Ink based printout ensures durability at all temperatures. USB interfaces (x3) support PC connection, USB flash drive, external USB printer and barcode scanner. User safety is paramount and Megger have designed independent and dual redundant high voltage cut-off circuitry to ensure safety. During a test the operator can terminate by pressing any button on the keyboard which will remove high voltage immediately and abort the test. The transparent lid provides ample visibility within the chamber yet is protected and electrically shielded by a screen with multiple links to instrument ground. Codes of practice have been established in many countries that include several different types of test on insulating oils. One of the fundamental tests of oil quality is the breakdown voltage test, which is a measure of the oil s ability to withstand electric stress. A low breakdown voltage can indicate the presence of contaminants such as water or conducting particles. Care should be taken to ensure the process of sampling oil and subsequent testing does not in any way contaminate it with foreign objects. Cleaning vessels between oil tests should be a rinse with the next sample, never clean with fibrous materials. To ensure an accurate reading set gap carefully and lock adjusting wheels.

28 Annexure 2b PORTATEST A-2 The Portable Oiltester Features Introduction The PORTATEST is a fully automatic tester for determination of the dielectric breakdown voltage of insulating liquid. It has been designed for laboratory use as well as for field use for service and commissioning. The PORTATEST is very comfortable and easy in use. The requested testing standard may be selected via menu. The corresponding electrode type as well as the electrode spacing will be displayed for confirmation before starting the test. After placing the test vessel with the oil sample into the test chamber, the protection lid needs to be closed. For maximum operator security the protection lid is equipped with a security interlock key switching off the HV when opened during testing. When starting the test, sample temperature as well as a customer specific sample number may be entered and will than be integrated to the test report printout. The testing sequence according to the selected testing standard is performed fully automatically. Common test sequences for national and international standards are stored in the oil tester. In addition, the operator can define and store up to 10 freely programmable test sequences. Every oil sample is either automatically marked with a serial number or with a number entered by the operator. After the test a detailed test report is printed on the builtin printer. In addition to the standard used for the test, the print-out contains date, time, sample number, individual breakdown values, average value and standard deviation. The last 20 test reports will be stored in the tester for later recall or printout. Additionally test results can be transmitted to a PC using the optionally available Windows program PrintCom. With PrintCom test results can be stored on a PC and test reports may be printed on the connected office printer. PrintCom stores the results in EXCEL format. The operator may configure an own suitable EXCEL form. It is very simple to create user-defined test protocols.
